Senior iOS Developer (Swift, iMessage / App Extensions)

We are hiring a Senior iOS Developer for a product build involving iMessage app functionality and extension-based architecture.

This role requires a developer who is genuinely senior — someone who can work confidently within Apple platform constraints, make pragmatic architectural decisions, and deliver a stable product without excessive hand-holding.
 

Must-Have Requirements
    •    Strong commercial experience with Swift and native iOS development
    •    Proven experience shipping production iOS apps
    •    Strong understanding of app architecture, persistence, lifecycle, and platform limitations
    •    Ability to work independently on ambiguous product problems
    •    Experience making sound engineering trade-offs without overcomplicating the solution

Big Advantage
    •    Experience with Messages framework, iMessage apps, or App Extensions
    •    Experience with Core Data / SQLite
    •    Experience with local-first product logic
    •    Experience working on products where privacy/API restrictions directly shape the UX

We Are Not Looking For
    •    Junior/Mid-level developers who still need technical direction on architecture
    •    Candidates whose experience is mostly limited to standard UIKit/SwiftUI screens with basic APIs
    •    Developers who rely heavily on backend-heavy patterns for solving mobile-first problems
    •    People who struggle to reason through Apple framework limitations independently

You will own implementation of a native iOS product with non-standard platform constraints, including:
    •    conversation-scoped logic
    •    local storage
    •    insertion/retrieval flows
    •    app/extension lifecycle behavior
    •    edge-case handling
    •    release readiness
