🔹About the project

 Our client is a leading media company in Western Europe, delivering high-quality content across various platforms, including newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, websites, apps, and podcasts. Their brands reach millions of people daily, shaping the media landscape with independent and trusted journalism.

We are collaborating with them to develop a cutting-edge digital advertising solution that optimises media campaigns and enhances user engagement. The product is already in production, and we are continuously evolving its features to meet the dynamic needs of the market.
 

🔹Responsibilities

• Work in a team as a QA to analyze business requirements and create/ update testing documentation.
• Provide different type of testing for web application (UI/API). 
• Report and verify bugs to guarantee the quality of the project. 
• Actively participate in release activities and execute appropriate types of testing (Regression testing, Smoke testing, Exploratory testing, etc.). 
• Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies ( Daily meetings, Sprint planning, retrospectives, brainstorming activities related to the project).
   

🔹Requirements

• 1+ year of commercial experience in testing web applications.
• Understanding of Browser DevTools (Network, Console, Storage, Elements tabs) for debugging.
• Experience in API testing of REST services (Postman/Insomnia/Charles and understanding of JSON/XML formats).
• Experience in requirements analysis, clarification, and decomposition.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum principles.
• Experience in writing Test Cases and Checklists using standard test design techniques (Boundary Value, Equivalence Partitioning, State Transition).
• Experience with Jira (bug tracking) and Confluence (documentation).
• Knowledge of SQL (ability to write multi-table JOINs and aggregate queries to verify backend data state against UI/API results).
• Understanding of Client-Server architecture (HTTP methods, headers, cookies, caching).
• Basic familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for test data generation or documentation assistance.
• Basic knowledge of the JavaScript/TypeScript language.
• Basic knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git).
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2).
   

🔹Would Be A Plus:

• Experience writing UI/API tests using Playwright, WebdriverIO, or other testing tools.
• Ability to clone repositories, pull changes, and handle basic merge requests.
• ISTQB certification.
