About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Hair Groomer / Digital Human Groom Artist to create highly realistic hairstyles and hair assets for next-generation digital humans used in interactive live casino experiences.

The role focuses specifically on hair and hairstyle production for photorealistic digital characters using Unreal Engine and MetaHuman technology.

Responsibilities:

- Create high-quality, photorealistic hair and hairstyles for digital human characters

- Own the hair grooming process from hairstyle references through production-ready assets

- Create and refine scalp hair, hairlines, flyaways, and other details required for realistic characters

- Produce different hairstyles and variations for multiple digital characters

- Ensure hair assets maintain realism from different camera angles and lighting conditions

- Prepare and optimize hair assets for MetaHuman characters and Unreal Engine

- Work closely with character, face, body, and animation specialists

- Troubleshoot visual and technical issues related to digital hair

- Balance visual quality with real-time performance requirements

- Maintain consistency and quality across the character library

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience as a 3D Artist

- 2+ years of experience with Game / Real-time or VFX Character Pipelines

- 1+ year of Character Hair Grooming experience with examples

- Experience with XGen, Ornatrix, Yeti, Houdini Groom, or similar tools - must-have

- Real production experience with photorealistic human character production

- Experience creating realistic hair, hairlines, eyebrows/facial hair when required

- Understanding of human anatomy and high-end character assets

- Experience taking groom assets through to production

- Strong portfolio demonstrating photorealistic human hairstyles and hair assets

- Strong understanding of hair structure, hairlines, volume, layering, and natural hair behaviour

- Ability to work independently and deliver polished assets from references

- Strong attention to visual detail
