Summary / Objective:
Klickly is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer at Middle or Junior+ level to join our infrastructure team. This role will be responsible for supporting development teams with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes infrastructure, cloud services, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will work with AWS (EKS, RDS, ElastiCache), container orchestration, Kafka clusters, and infrastructure as code. 1–3 years of DevOps/SRE experience and a passion for automation and reliability are essential. Experience with high-traffic distributed systems and event-driven architecture is a plus.
Desired experience and skills:
- 1–3 years of DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience
- Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash)
- Container concepts: Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes (deployments, services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress)
- AWS Services: EKS (Kubernetes), ECR, RDS (PostgreSQL), ElastiCache (Redis), S3, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, ACM, Secrets Manager / Parameter Store
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD (GitOps)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (basic to intermediate)
- Database configuration: PostgreSQL, Redis; familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL
- Kafka: cluster setup, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, KSQL (basic understanding)
- Source control: Git, branching strategies
- Monitoring & observability: Prometheus, Grafana (basic setup and dashboards)

- Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
- Strimzi (Kafka operator for Kubernetes)
- Karpenter (node autoscaling for EKS)
- External Secrets Operator
- Jenkins (legacy CI/CD)
- ElasticSearch / OpenSearch for log aggregation
- Cost optimization and EKS scalability
- ETL pipelines, Snowflake integration
- Scripting: Python for automation
Key responsibilities:
- Support DevOps needs of development teams (CI/CD, deployments, environments)
- Identify and address infrastructure issues and security vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain ETL procedures and data pipelines
- Implement DevOps best practices and standards
- Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response
