Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in planning and tracking project progress to ensure timelines and milestones are met.
2. Convey comprehensive information in a clear and concise manner
3. Communicate and report with internal and external teams to ensure task completion and alignment with project goals
4. Monitor data quality and proactively escalate risks or issues that may impact project scope, timeline, or quality.
5. Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, aligning expectations and ensuring transparency.
6. Maintain and update key project documentation, including budget reports, trackers, meeting notes, and delivery schedules.
7. Track production KPIs, such as velocity and quality, and conduct quality spot-checks to ensure consistent performance.
8. Identify and escalate scope changes requested by clients to the appropriate internal teams.
9. Schedule and lead team\customer meetings or check-ins to align on project goals, challenges, and progress.
10. Assist in resolving project-related issues and optimizing workflows for improved efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience in project coordination, operations, support or a similar role.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
5. Ability to identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and support problem resolution.
6. Experience working with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) is a plus.
7. Proficiency in creating and maintaining charts\tables\spreadsheets, executing project related calculations
8. Fluency in English and Russian\Ukrainian (written and spoken) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in the annotation or data labeling industry
2. Background in working with cross-functional teams, including operations and solutions teams.

The Data Manager Specialist is responsible for managing, processing, and maintaining large volumes of data and media assets used in AI and technology-driven projects. This role ensures data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across systems while supporting efficient workflows through automation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The specialist works extensively in a Linux-based environment, handling various media formats and datasets, and contributes to maintaining high standards of data quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise

• Manage and process data using Linux file systems and native OS tools.
• Work with media files, including video formats, codecs, resolutions, and frame rates (FPS).
• Validate data integrity using checksum and verification tools.
• Package and unpack large data archives efficiently.
• Automate data-related workflows using scripting languages.
• Prepare, structure, and maintain datasets in structured formats.
• Support cloud-based data storage and data transfers.
• Collaborate with project, QA, and technical teams to ensure smooth data operations.
• Document workflows, processes, and task updates clearly and consistently.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Strong knowledge of Linux file systems and administration (Ubuntu/Debian, 2+ years).
• Experience administering Windows OS.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash / Shell scripting.
• Experience with archive management tools for large datasets.
• Knowledge of checksum verification tools (md5sum, sha256sum).
• Tools for inspecting video properties and codecs.
• Confident working knowledge of JSON and CSV formats.
• Experience with cloud storage platforms: AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Slack, Confluence, and Google Docs.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Point Cloud / 3D data.

Language & Communication

• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and project requirements.
• Clear written communication in English for reports, updates, and documentation.

Qualification Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of full-time experience in software development.
• Experience in team lead positions will be considered an advantage.
• Mandatory at least 2 years of client-side web development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience working with MongoDB and SQL databases, including writing complex SQL queries involving JOIN operations.
• Hands-on experience working with production systems and high-availability architectures.
• Experience with automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and GitOps.
• Experience working with Python-based machine learning tools such as PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, and others.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of design patterns and the ability to effectively apply them in various scenarios.
• Mandatory knowledge of C or C++.
• Strong proficiency in Python with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with C# and/or Java.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js / JavaScript.
• In-depth knowledge of modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Django, Flask, or similar).
• Experience and knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Linux tools, networking technologies, and systems security (the primary daily working platform is Linux).

• Ability to interpret and understand complex technical specifications.

Working Schedule
