Role: DevOps Engineer

RouteGenie provides innovative software solutions for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) companies.

We help transportation providers fully automate their operations - from intelligent dispatching and optimized route planning to comprehensive reporting, trip pricing, and invoicing.

What We Look For

• AWS Cloud Stack hands-on experience
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, PKI/TLS, network security, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with cloud multi-tenant infrastructure
• Experience with optimizing, updating,  and maintaining relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible)
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Zabbix, ELK, Prometheus\VictoriaMetrics)
• English level: B2+ (Upper-Intermediate or higher)

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure services
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure seamless operations
• Administer, improve, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across environments
• Optimize and maintain databases for high availability and performance

Nice To Have

• Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines
• Experience with streaming and messaging tools (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (on-premises and AWS EKS) and deploy services with Helm
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and relevant security certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS)

The Role
We’re looking for an AI Engineer who can help us leverage AI across our business. This role could take two forms depending on the candidate:

• Consulting engagement: Train our development team on AI-powered coding tools, QA automation, and documentation workflows, then step back.
• Full-time role: Join us permanently to build AI-driven features directly into Jiris Health — from predictive analytics to intelligent workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and integrate AI tools that streamline daily development tasks (e.g., code generation, testing, QA automation, documentation).
• Train the development team on effective AI/LLM workflows.
• (Full-time) Design and implement AI features into the product, such as:
  • Automated documentation and care plan generation
  • Predictive analytics for scheduling, compliance, and billing
  • Natural language processing tools for caregivers and coordinators
• Collaborate with product leadership to shape the long-term AI roadmap.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with AI/ML (LLMs, NLP, or applied machine learning).
• Strong programming background in Python and/or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.).
• Strong communication and ability to train/mentor a dev team.
• Healthcare or SaaS experience is a big plus.

• Prior experience embedding AI into enterprise or healthcare workflows.
• Background in compliance-heavy industries.

About Us

The Role
We’re seeking a hybrid UI/UX + Graphic Designer who can own the look and feel of our product and contribute to marketing materials. UI/UX is the priority, but if you can create slick graphics for campaigns, that’s a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of user flows, wireframes, and interfaces for Jiris Health.
• Work closely with product and engineering to deliver intuitive experiences.
• Develop and maintain a consistent design system.
• Support the marketing team with graphics, visuals, and collateral (secondary).

Requirements

• Portfolio of UI/UX design work (healthcare or SaaS a plus).
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
• Ability to balance clean design with complex workflows.
• Some marketing/brand design experience preferred.

The Role
We’re seeking a part-time DevOps Engineer — ideally someone with a full-time role looking for a meaningful side project. You’ll help us ensure uptime, security, and scalability as we move toward launch.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure and deployments.
• Support security, compliance, and monitoring needs.
• Help scale infrastructure as user base grows.

Requirements

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC.
• Previous startup/healthcare experience a plus.
