About the Project

We are supporting a long-term client with a strong background in React and Node.js development, working with major telecom companies such as AT&T, Vodafone, and Telos International.

This engagement marks a new direction for the client: their first Shopify-based project.

The end customer operates in the mobile device diagnostics industry, providing a proprietary system that combines hardware (USB diagnostic hubs) and software to automatically assess the condition of mobile devices (battery health, memory, display, etc.) when plugged in.

Their solution allows retailers and telecom operators to instantly evaluate returned phones without sending them to repair centers, significantly reducing logistics costs and turnaround times.

The company originally started in the law enforcement sector, building tools for mobile data extraction during investigations, before pivoting into commercial telecom and retail diagnostics.

Project Overview

• Existing Shopify store already exists for mobile devices, but the new project is expected to be a significant rebuild or extension rather than a simple theme update
• Strong focus on backend-heavy Shopify development
• Work will include:
  • Custom Shopify app development
  • API integrations between Shopify and external systems
  • Logistics and warehouse workflow automation
  • Connection between Shopify storefront and proprietary diagnostic backend platform
• Scope is expected to go beyond standard Shopify theme customization

Technical Focus

We are specifically looking for a Shopify Developer with strong backend capabilities, including:

• Shopify Apps (custom/private apps)
• Shopify Admin API / Storefront API
• Node.js backend development
• API design & integrations
• Experience with warehouse/logistics or ERP-style systems (strong plus)
• Ability to work on system architecture beyond frontend theming

About the Project
We are hiring for our client, who is currently scaling multiple Magento projects built from scratch using the Hyvä theme. This role is ideal for a developer experienced in launching Hyvä-based projects end-to-end. 
 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Magento 2 frontend solutions using the Hyvä theme
• Build projects from scratch on the latest version of Hyvä
• Collaborate within an Agile environment, working in sprints
• Provide accurate story point estimations and participate in sprint planning

• Ensure high-quality, performant, and scalable frontend solutions

   

Required Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience with Magento 2 Hyvä
• Proven experience launching Hyvä projects from scratch (must-have)
• Strong experience with:
  • Hyvä UI
  • Hyvä Checkout
  • Tailwind CSS (version 4)

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (sprints, estimations, etc.)

Engagement Terms: Full-time (~40 hrs/week) | 6-month initial contract (extension possible)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-growth SaaS environment focused on building scalable data infrastructure and enabling ML/analytics workflows. The role is centered on designing and maintaining robust data platforms, supporting real-time and batch processing systems, and enabling data science and machine learning initiatives.

Technical Requirements (Recent 2–3 Years Hands-On Experience)

• Data Engineering: Apache Kafka (streaming), Apache Airflow (orchestration), advanced SQL, NoSQL databases
• Cloud & APIs: Strong AWS experience (preferred), API development experience
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform / CloudFormation (IaC)
• CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines
• Observability & Governance: Monitoring, logging, data quality, and governance frameworks

• Nice to have: ML pipelines, AWS SageMaker, OpenAI or LLM-based integrations

   

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
• Build and evolve data platform infrastructure supporting analytics and ML use cases
• Develop event-driven architectures using Kafka and secure API systems
• Collaborate closely with Data Science and ML teams to enable production-ready workflows
