The project of The LINK : The mission is to support individuals within the migrant population by providing a safe and secure telephone service that connects them to essential resources wherever they are. As an independent contact, we offer critical support, guiding individuals toward safe accommodations and local resources. 

1. Development of a bespoke virtual communication platform with an integrated CRM system tailored to the information line's specific needs. This platform will handle calls, texts, and voice messages simultaneously. The platform's architecture will allow for integration of essential software such as translation and transcription tools, as well as file transfer capabilities for educational materials. 

2. Comprehensive mapping of resources available to people on the move, creating and re-establishing relationships within a network. This mapping will create a central hub for shared information, with the secondary aim of fostering a collaborative community that can effectively support one another. All collected information will be securely stored in a purpose-built database to ensure data privacy and efficient access.

    The Mission

    InfoLine France is looking for a mission-driven Junior Developer to help build and refine The LINK—a vital information helpline assisting exiled people across France. This isn't just a coding job; you will be building tools that help people navigate life-critical situations in real-time.

    The Tech & Tasks

    As we are in the evolving phase of the project (Starting year 2), you will be a core part of the design and functionality. Your focus will be:

    • Database Management: Creating and refining a secure database for helpline resources.
    • Comms Tech Support: Maintaining and optimizing our call center technology integrations.
    • App Integration: Connecting various tools (CRMs, communication apps, and web forms) to ensure a seamless workflow.
    • Web Design: Refining the UI/UX for our digital interfaces to ensure they are accessible for people in transit.

    The Setup

    • Small & Agile: You will work in a tight-knit team of two staff members and two tech specialists (including yourself).
    • Mentorship: You aren't alone. You will have a dedicated Senior Developer available twice a week for architectural guidance, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
    • Impact: You have a seat at the table. We will work together to decide on the best security protocols and tool functionalities.

    Continuity & Growth

    • Long-term Collaboration: We are looking for a partner, not just a freelancer. This project is active and evolving; for the right candidate, we are offering a consistent collaboration through to the end of 2026. You will grow as the project grows, moving from refinement to full-scale maintenance and feature expansion.

    What We Are Looking For

    • Commitment: Ability to commit to the project for the 2026 calendar year.
    • Communication: High-level English (imperative) for technical collaboration within an international team; French or Italian would be a major advantage also.
    • Reliability: Since we work on a results-based model, we need someone who hits milestones without constant supervision.
