We're looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing team building data-driven products at scale. This role combines backend development, modern frontend engineering, and data platform expertise, with a strong focus on Databricks, Python, and TypeScript.

You'll work on systems that help organizations collect, process, analyze, and visualize large volumes of data, while contributing to technical architecture and product development decisions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and enhance scalable data solutions using Databricks
• Build reliable backend services, APIs, and integrations with Python
• Create intuitive, high-performance web applications using TypeScript and React
• Design internal tools, dashboards, and workflow management interfaces
• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features
• Improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and engineering best practices

What We're Looking For

Required

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Commercial experience working with Databricks in production environments
• Strong backend development experience with Python
• Strong frontend development experience with TypeScript
• Experience building applications with React or similar modern frameworks
• Experience developing data platforms, analytics solutions, or ETL/ELT systems
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience working on distributed or data-intensive systems
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher
• Russian proficiency at C1 level or higher

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Spark and Delta Lake
• Experience with Airflow, Kafka, or related data engineering technologies
• Background building enterprise SaaS products
• Knowledge of modern data warehousing and analytics architectures

Contract Details

• Full-time engagement (8 hours per day)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help build and scale modern data platforms that power analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will work with cloud-based data ecosystems, leveraging Databricks and Spark technologies to process large volumes of data and deliver high-performance solutions across the organization.

You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to design robust data architectures, improve data reliability, and support mission-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing frameworks.
• Create and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for efficient data ingestion and transformation.
• Work with high-volume datasets in distributed computing environments.
• Develop data models, transformation logic, and integrations across multiple systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
• Monitor and improve data quality, platform performance, and operational stability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and implement data engineering best practices.
• Support cloud-based data infrastructure and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Databricks in production environments.
• Strong experience with Apache Spark and PySpark.
• Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance optimization.
• Solid background building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience working with large-scale data processing and analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Professional proficiency in both English (C1) and Russian (C1).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Contract Details

• Full-time engagement under a B2B agreement.
