    About The Role

We are looking for a middle or senior QA who can own product quality in a small team. This is a long-term job. The base load is 8 hours per week. If you can also cover light PM tasks (triage, backlog hygiene, preparing requirements), we can grow this to 10+ hours per week.

    Product

US healthcare web platform. Reliability and data privacy matter. Expect regular releases and fast feedback loops.

    What You Will Do

    • Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and lightweight test plans
    • Run functional, regression, and basic integration testing
    • Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual, severity, and evidence
    • Validate data using SQL queries when needed
    • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes

    Optional (PM Support)

    • Triage incoming bugs and requests, keep the board clean, push items to “ready”
    • Help turn raw ideas into clear tickets with acceptance criteria
    • Coordinate small releases and follow ups across the team
    • Keep basic product documentation

    Requirements

    • 3+ years in manual QA for web products (middle or senior level)
    • Strong test design techniques and understanding of the test process
    • API testing experience (Postman or similar)
    • Confident with SQL for data validation
    • Solid bug reporting and communication skills in English
    • Independent, proactive, comfortable owning outcomes

    Nice To Have

    • Basic test automation experience
    • Experience with monitoring, dashboards, or production sanity checks
    • Healthcare domain familiarity
    • Experience testing performance or investigating stability issues

    Format

    • Part-time, hourly
    • Remote
    • Start with 8h/week, scale up if PM support is a fit
