About the project:

The project is a specialized Market Data Management platform that acts as an intelligent layer between global financial data providers and the internal systems of banks and investment funds. It addresses a critical industry challenge: heavy dependence on vendor-specific data formats (such as Bloomberg or Refinitiv) and fragmented inbound data flows. The platform automatically aggregates, normalizes, and validates incoming data, creating a so-called “Golden Copy” — a single, reliable, and error-free source of truth for each financial instrument. Its key advantage is full vendor independence: thanks to a flexible GraphQL API and a modular architecture, clients can instantly switch data providers or add new data domains (for example, ESG metrics) without rebuilding internal infrastructure, significantly reducing operational costs and reporting risks.

About the role:

• As a Market Data Support Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and validating market and instrument data used by clients. You will work closely with Data Specialists, external data providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that data is correct, complete, and up to date. The role combines operational data maintenance, analytical thinking, and client-oriented support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys structured work and wants to deepen their understanding of financial markets and data flows.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English (B2–C1 level), with the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external providers
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Structured and methodical working style
• Ability to follow defined procedures and document work properly
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Genuine interest in financial markets and data

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of financial instruments such as shares, bonds, and funds
• Experience working with Excel or similar data tools
• Prior exposure to market or reference data environments
• Educational background in Finance, Economics, or a related field

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial market and instrument data within internal systems, including companies, instruments, listings, and client universes
• Process corporate actions according to established procedures
• Ensure high data quality by performing regular checks and identifying inconsistencies or missing information
• Proactively inform Data Specialists about relevant data changes or anomalies
• Communicate with external data providers regarding data quality issues or questions
• Monitor news and events that may impact market or instrument data and register relevant changes in internal systems
• Investigate and resolve data-related incidents within agreed service levels
• Provide second-line support to clients regarding market and instrument data
• Support internal stakeholders such as Business Consultants, IT Managers, and Customer Service Consultants in meeting service level agreements
• Write, update, and maintain user manuals, internal documentation, and knowledge base materials
• Document recurring issues, solutions, and operational procedures

The role offers a clear growth trajectory, starting from a junior or trainee position toward independent responsibility for instrument and market data maintenance. From there, you can progress into data quality ownership roles and further into broader market data, analyst, or more technical positions within the data domain.
