Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead the testing strategy for our Angular 20+ ecosystem. You won't just be "writing scripts"—you will be architecting a highspeed, AIaccelerated testing framework that integrates directly into our GitHub Actions pipelines. Your mission is to eliminate flakiness, optimize execution time, and ensure our rapid deployment cycles are backed by rocksolid confidence.

Our Proposed Tech Stack

• Core: Playwright (TypeScript)
• Framework Architecture: Page Object Model (POM) with ObjectOriented principles.
• Environment: Angular 20+ (Signals, Standalone Components).

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Engineering: Build and maintain an automated test suite using Playwright (TypeScript), applying strict ObjectOriented patterns and the Page Object Model.
• AIDriven Development: Proactively use Generative AI to accelerate test authoring, generate complex test data, and assist in refactoring legacy test code.
• Angular Specialization: Collaborate with devs to test Angular 20+ features, ensuring deep integration with the DOM and handling asynchronous state changes efficiently.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Own the integration of tests within GitHub Actions. You will be responsible for optimizing running time via sharding and parallel execution to keep feedback loops under 10 minutes.
• Advanced Debugging: Use browser dev tools and Playwright traces to diagnose and fix flaky tests. You understand why a test fails in a headless environment even when it passes locally.
• Test Strategy: Design and execute Smoke and Regression suites that balance coverage with execution speed.

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in Professional QA Automation.
• Playwright Mastery: Deep handson experience writing and maintaining tests in Playwright (TS/JS).
• Web Technologies: Expertlevel knowledge of HTML/DOM and CSS Selectors. You can navigate complex shadow DOMs and dynamic Angular components with ease.
• Testing Fundamentals: Proven ability in test data management and designing reusable testing patterns.
• Tooling & Reporting: Experience setting up comprehensive reporting frameworks (like Allure) that provide clear "reasonforfailure" insights to the whole team.
• Optimization Mindset: You don't just write tests; you optimize them for speed and reliability.

You aren't just a coder; you are an owner who takes full accountability for the application lifecycle, from the first line of a unit test to the final deployment on Google Cloud.

• Total Test Coverage: Implement a "Test-First" culture. You will write comprehensive Unit Tests for isolated logic and Feature Tests (Integration) to ensure API endpoints and business flows are bulletproof.
• Cloud Ownership: Manage and optimize the application on Google Cloud. This includes configuring Cloud Run for auto-scaling, managing Cloud SQL instances, and setting up IAM roles for security.

• Ownership Mentality: You take "Extreme Ownership" of the codebase. This means proactive monitoring (Google Cloud Observability), identifying bottlenecks before they hit production, and refactoring for long-term health.

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional backend development with a deep mastery of PHP and the Laravel ecosystem.
• TDD Champion: Strong commitment to Test-Driven Development. You must be proficient in writing Unit and Feature tests before implementation to ensure high-quality, bug-free code from day one.
• GCP Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services, specifically containerized deployments (Docker/Artifact Registry) and serverless environments. Important!!!
• AI Mastery: Demonstrated ability to use AI Agents (like Cursor) and terminal-based AI tools (Gemini-CLI) to accelerate development speed by at least 2x.
• Database Design: Expert level at Eloquent ORM, database indexing, and query optimization to handle large-scale datasets.
• Security Mindset: Knowledge of OWASP principles, secure API design, and data encryption within a cloud environment.
