Senior Kotlin Developer

Proficiency in Kotlin with 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development;
● Experience with Quarkus, Micronaut, Event scheduling;
● Solid understanding of OOP, functional programming, and clean architecture principles;
● Experience with Spring Boot or other Kotlin-compatible frameworks;
● Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web service integration;
● Good knowledge of databases: both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB);
● Experience with asynchronous programming and coroutines in Kotlin;
● Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control best practices;
● Unit testing and integration testing experience using tools like JUnit, MockK, or similar;
● Experience with Quarkus, Micronaut, Event scheduling;
● Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and maintainable Kotlin-based applications;
● Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features;
● Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards;
● Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to technical decision-making;
● Debug and resolve issues in production and development environments;
● Integrate third-party APIs and services;
● Contribute to the improvement of development processes, tooling, and team productivity;
● Stay up to date with Kotlin ecosystem trends and propose relevant improvements or innovations.

Nice to have:
● Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS);

Role Overview

We are strengthening our Business Intelligence (BI) platform and we want to hire an

experienced Data Engineer to join our team and take ownership of scaling, optimizing, and innovating

our BI platform. The right candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a passion for delivering

reliable, high-quality data systems that empower analytics and decision-making across the company.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

• Manage and optimize data warehouses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.

• Partner with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to enable actionable insights.

• Develop high-quality, maintainable code in Go and Python for data processing and integration.

• Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance are upheld.

• Integrate and support analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau) to deliver impactful dashboards and

reporting.

• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools/technologies to improve the BI platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in data engineering or related fields in the Fintech domain.

• Strong background in data warehouses, data modeling, and large-scale data processing.

• Proficiency in Go and Python with a strong software engineering mindset.

• Experience working with analytics platforms (ideally Tableau).

• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).

• Knowledge of cloud platform (AWS) is a strong plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach
