We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Director of Engineering to join our team in Lviv!

About the Role:

We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the development of our core casino product and oversee multiple teams responsible for other casino-related products. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience managing high-load, big data architectures. As Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for people management, process establishment, and technical oversight, ensuring the teams deliver scalable, high-quality solutions while following best practices in software development. You will report directly to the CTO and collaborate closely with Product and Operations teams to ensure efficient execution of company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & People Management: Lead Team Leaders of multiple engineering teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development support. 
• Assist in setting goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for teams and individuals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
• Resolve conflicts and promote collaboration across teams. Engineering & Architecture.
• Collaborate with Architect and CTO to define the architecture of services and resolve architectural challenges.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of systems handling big data and high-load traffic.
• Provide technical guidance to teams, helping them adopt best engineering practices and modern technologies.
• Investigate production incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and implementation of preventive measures. 
• Process & Execution: Establish, improve, and enforce Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to ensure efficiency and quality. 
• Work closely with Product and Operations teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives. 
• Collaborate with teams to provide realistic estimates and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines.
• Monitor project progress and remove blockers to ensure seamless execution.
   

Requirements:

• Proven track record in senior engineering leadership roles, managing multiple teams. 
• Strong experience in people management, including setting goals, performance reviews, and mentorship. 
• Extensive technical background, including experience with high-load architectures and big data systems. 
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles and ability to resolve architectural challenges. 
• Experience establishing and optimizing SDLC processes to drive engineering efficiency. 
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate incidents and implement preventive solutions. 
• Excellent conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher), both spoken and written.

About the job:

• Manage team of 5 animators (feedbacks and support).
• Create animations and effects for different elements in slot games (characters, UI, particles, backgrounds etc).
• Create concepts for animation features and mechanics described in Game Design Documents.
• Create prototypes of animations in Spine.

We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our Infrastructure team in Lviv/Kyiv.
 

What You'll get to do:

• Install, configure, and maintain the company’s database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexing, and resource utilization.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

About the job:

You will be part of the Playmatrix department. Playmatrix creates state-of-the-art live casino games from scratch.

Roulette and Blackjack (and many-may more other games) with real dealers streamed to players all across the world with lowest latency and highest quality.

You will be working in the Backend team mainly with NodeJS, Kafka, Postgresql and Redis. We deploy containerized apps via Docker, Kubernetes, and a continuous delivery pipeline.
 

What You'll get to do:

• Design, develop, deploy and manage complex microservices.
• Integrate the backend services with the front-end solutions.
• Architecture and build customer facing APIs.
• Contribute to an overall system design and architecture.
• Select the best implementation strategies; recommend the technologies, tools, and libraries.

• Deliver high-quality code to production; develop unit, integrated and system tests to ensure the code quality.

   

What You need to know:

• Independence and self-motivation 7+ years engineering experience

What You'll get to do:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Incident Manager (with QA or technical support experience) to join our team in Lviv!
 

What You’ll get to do:

• Incidents categorization and prioritization based on their impact on the business and the criticality of affected systems.
• Incident reproducing and finding the root cause, providing updates on incident status and resolution progress.
• Communication with reporter for deeper issue analysis, giving explanation about product features.

  What You need to know:
• Relevant experience on position of Incident Manager, Support specialist or a similar role.
