As a UI/UX Designer at EVDEV, you will play a key role in crafting visually stunning, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized Shopify websites. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, designing intuitive user experiences, and collaborating with our development team and testers to bring your designs to life.

We are flexible with your involvement: we can start with project-based or part-time work and gradually increase your engagement based on mutual agreement. We are open to discussing and offering an involvement model that works best for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design high-quality UI/UX layouts for Shopify websites, ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups using Figma.
• Develop visually appealing, responsive, and accessible designs for desktop and mobile devices.
• Optimize UI/UX for conversion rate, usability, and accessibility best practices.
• Work with branding guidelines and create visually cohesive website designs that align with client requirements.
• Research e-commerce trends, competitors, and user behavior to create effective design solutions.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design, particularly in e-commerce or product website design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce or Shopify-related projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
• Understanding of UX principles, usability, and best practices in web design.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and how designs translate into development (no coding required but a plus).
• Ability to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passion for design trends, and improving user experiences.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with 3D animations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop HTML, CSS, JS templates from technical assignments and Figma designs.
• Ensure pixel-perfect results using testing plugins. That's extremely important. We're looking for somebody who could take a Figma design and turn it into a precise webpage. That's what would be tested in our test task. 
• Build reusable components for scalable development.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, project managers, and other developers.
• We value not your skills at the moment of time, but your ability to learn quickly. Understand your mistakes and move forward with the lessons learned. 

Requirements:

• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience converting Figma designs into functional code.
• Familiarity with testing tools for accurate development (e.g. PerfectPixel chrome extension)
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Understanding of how to get from point A to point B with the tasks you've never done before. We highly encourage you to use ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Cursor and any available tools on the web. We'll cover the costs of all AI tools you need. 
• Knowledge of Shopify would be a major benefit and a plus. 
• Be opened to learn new technologies and tools, like Shopify.
