EPAM Systems

Responsibilities:

• Discover, envision and land Data Science, AI and Machine Learning opportunities alongside EPAM teams & clients
• Lead cross-functional EPAM and/or EPAM clients` teams through the journey of understanding business challenges and defining solutions leveraging AI, Data Science, Machine Learning and MLOps 
• Work with clients to deliver AI Products which provide value to end-users 
• Participate and drive EPAM competencies development, work on new EPAM offerings in AI, Data Science, ML and MLE space, as well as work on refining existing offerings 
• Bring your creative engineering mind to deliver real-life practical applications of Machine Learning 
• Work closely with DevOps practice on infrastructure and release planning 
   

Requirements:

• Consulting: Experience in exploring the business problem and converging it to applied AI technical solutions; expertise in pre-sales, solution definition activities  
• Data Science: 3+ years of hands-on experience with core Data Science, as well as knowledge of one of the advanced Data Science and AI domains (Computer Vision, NLP, Advanced Analytics etc.)  
• Engineering: Experience delivering applied AI from concept to production, familiarity, and experience with MLOps, Data, design of Data Analytics platforms, data engineering, and technical leadership
• Leadership: Track record of delivering complex AI-empowered and/or AI-empowering programs to the clients in a leadership position. Experience managing and growing the team to scale up Data Science, AI &ML capability is a big plus
• Excellent communication skills (active listening, writing and presentation), drive for problem solving and creative solutions, high EQ

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution delivery on the assigned account(s)
• Assure governance of processes in delivery management and production as per selected delivery model
• For the top management and client - act as a single point of responsibility over any delivery-related matters, including escalations, upsells, ramp-downs, etc
• Take responsibility for resources needed for delivery - assure sound skills and seniority staffing according to the delivery roadmap
• Accountable for the technical leadership regarding the delivery. Ensure a sound and future-proof architecture is planned and the implementation meets the technical quality standards
• Coordinate between multiple disciplines and stakeholders
• Establish and manage long-term partnerships with the client(s). Address clients’ issues, identify and manage engagement risks
• Coordinate the preparation of client proposals and statements of work
• Ensure that projects are delivered in line with EPAM processes and methodologies;
• Make sure that the client executes their responsibilities on the engagements
• Build up delivery plan along with estimations on timeframes, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully deliver projects
• Establish a strategy of continuous delivery risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the delivery life cycle
• Support sales activities: participate in the bid process, and provide technical and management expertise to win bids
• Ensure EPAM delivery standards while bringing to life the best products for our clients
• Manage your team via KPIs around delivery, local Data Practice growth and technology proficiency

Requirements

• Practical experience in delivering projects in Data and Analytics, Big Data, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, LLM
• Knowledge of corresponding technological solutions and industry best practices
• Good understanding of data engineering challenges and proven experience with data platform engineering (batch and streaming, ingestion, storage, processing, management, integration, consumption)
• Familiar with multiple Data & Analytics technology stacks
• Aware of various Data & Analytics tools and techniques (e.g. Python, data mining, predictive analytics, machine learning, data modeling, etc.)
• Experience with data visualization, aware of various tools and technologies
• Understanding of data-related security challenges
• Experience with one or more leading cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP); leading role in on-prem to cloud migration projects
• Experience executing from ground-up solutions
• A thorough understanding of how to plan, resource, and deliver large-scale technical projects
• Knowledge of software development/Product lifecycle methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• High degree of comfort to present both to large and small audiences
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse personality types
• Excellent business communication skills
• Fluency in English with a proficiency level of B2 or higher

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Work closely with sales, delivery, and expert teams to align client needs with data-driven solutions, effectively connecting business challenges to our offerings
• Own the end-to-end presales process, including opportunity qualification, solution design, proposal development, demos, and client presentations
• Lead workshops and meetings with clients to gather business objectives and technical requirements, ensuring alignment between client goals and our solutions
• Architect tailored data solutions, encompassing cloud-native platforms, data integration, advanced analytics, and AI/ML models, to provide actionable business insights
• Develop competitive proposals, pricing models, and value propositions to successfully close opportunities and secure engagements
• Stay updated on emerging trends in Data & Analytics, Cloud, and AI, providing strategic advice to clients and supporting innovation within the practice
• Contribute to the development of reusable solution frameworks, accelerators, and methodologies to drive operational efficiency
• Act as a mentor and knowledge-sharer across the team, supporting skill-building and best practice dissemination.

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Extensive experience in presales, solution architecture, or consulting, with a focus on Data/AI technologies and related business use cases
• Strong technical knowledge of data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP Data Services), ETL processes, data modeling, BI tools, and data visualization frameworks (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with data science techniques and proficiency in analyzing client needs to align with technical solutions
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly narratives
• Proven track record in engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering impactful presentations or pitches
• Experience in creating detailed proposals, RFP responses, and pricing/engagement models for data-related services or projects
• Understanding of strategic consulting principles and the ability to develop future-state recommendations and roadmaps for client success
• Strong organizational, leadership, and project scoping abilities, with a proven ability to manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Ведення presale та консалтингової діяльності для клієнтів компанії щодо можливих технічних рішень
• Розробка проєктних рішеннь та їхня валідація з клієнтами (технічне рішення, строки виконання, склад команди розробки тощо)
• Планування та управління discovery фазою проєкту, проведення kick-off сесій, технічне консультування при перенесенні проєкта у стадію розробки
• Співпраця на рівні глобальної Дата практики EPAM з архітекторами рішень, технічними лідерами при розробці архітектури проєкту, що відповідає стратегічним потребам бізнесу

QUALIFICATIONS  

• 3+ років досвіду у ролі Архітектора Дата рішень
• 2+ роки досвіду ведення presale діяльності з клієнтами
• Практичний досвід роботи з AWS або Azure або GCP
• Знання BI, ETL, Cloud Data platforms, legacy Data platforms (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2)
• Досвід участі у проєктах по розробці end-to-end рішень у якості Tехнічного консультанта або Архітектора чи Менеджера проєктів
• Здатність керувати очікуваннями клієнтів та презентувати рішення стейкхолдерам
