About the Role

You will design, develop, and deploy microservices on Microsoft Azure using cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, Azure Key Vault, Azure App Configuration, and xUnit for testing. Working fixed hours from 8am to 5pm local time, with a daily standup at 8am, you'll be part of a disciplined and collaborative team that values transparency and accountability.
 

Responsibilities

• Develop & Deploy: Build and maintain microservices using C# and .NET Core, ensuring high-quality code and seamless deployment on Azure.
• Cloud-Native Architecture: Utilize containerization (Docker) and orchestration with Kubernetes to manage and scale applications.
• Security & Configuration: Implement Azure Key Vault for secure secret management and Azure App Configuration for centralized settings.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Leverage xUnit for comprehensive unit testing to maintain code quality and reliability.
• DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment workflows.
• Agile Practices: Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions to foster continuous improvement.
• Accountability: Maintain detailed timekeeping records and provide evidence of work to ensure transparency and effective project tracking.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in C# development and .NET Core.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying microservices on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault and Azure App Configuration.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in unit testing using xUnit.
• Excellent spoken English for clear communication and collaboration.
• Commitment to fixed working hours (8am to 5pm local time) and daily standups at 8am.
• Strong emphasis on accurate timekeeping and detailed documentation of work.
