You’ll be part of the team that built a high-performance media plan analytics platform for one of Japan’s leading publicly traded advertising holdings. This platform processes vast volumes of data from diverse sources to deliver actionable insights into campaign performance, empowering the client to optimize services for customers and generate significant value for shareholders.
 

In this role, you’ll work with scalable, high-load data streaming pipelines, contribute to modules for real-time metrics monitoring, and help develop advanced forecasting tools that guide critical campaign decisions. Collaborating with experienced engineers, analysts, and product experts, you’ll tackle complex technical challenges while directly impacting the success of high-profile marketing initiatives. Together, we’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible in advertising analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

— Support existing backend architecture;
— Implement new features and improve backend service functionality;
— Integrate with other REST API services;
— Make architectural and technological decisions;
— Communicate with other members of the team and the customer directly.
 

Requirements:

— 1.5+ years of hands-on experience in Scala development;
— Akka toolkit (Actors, Streams, HTTP);
— Knowledge of functional programming, Client-Server architecture, REST APIs, Websocket;
— Proven experience with SQL databases;
— SBT, Git, Docker, Kubernetes;
 

Would be a plus:

— Prior working experience with Data Science & AI projects;
— At least Upper-Intermediate English level;

You’ll be responsible for making the AI stack drive the vehicle properly!

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop computer vision algorithms with a focus on 3D object detection and scene reconstruction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision models into production systems

• Work with the latest technologies in 3D vision, DL, and RL

   

Requirements:

• Have a strong background in Computer Vision and Deep Learning
• Hands-on experience with RGB-based methods for 3D object detection and occupancy networks
• Solid understanding of deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with 3D reconstruction, point clouds, or similar areas
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (written & spoken) for documentation and collaboration
• Strong knowledge of Python
• Experience with inference optimization

Would be a plus:

• Have knowledge or practical experience with Reinforcement Learning
• Work with edge devices and sensors (e.g., camera, lidar, radar, etc.)
• Experience in automotive or robotics
• Knowledge of C++/CUDA

• Hands-on experience with simulation and environments for RL
• Proven production experience in RL, including deployment cases
• Deep understanding of RL techniques (e.g., policy gradients, actor-critic, Q-learning)
• Experience with transformers and computer vision
• Upper-Intermediate English (written & spoken) for documentation and collaboration
• Strong knowledge of Python

The Data Science team currently consists of 4 other BI Engineers, who work together to tackle a variety of projects each week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipelines & Aggregation (≈80%)

  - Locate, clean, and aggregate data from multiple sources (Redshift, Databricks, spreadsheets, etc.)

  - Design and operationalize automated data pipelines for consistent delivery of data to dashboards

  - Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across systems

• Dashboard Development (≈20%)

  - Build and maintain dashboards in Looker (or similar BI tools)

  - Translate raw data into structured, business-friendly datasets ready for visualization

  - Collaborate with stakeholders to define key data requirements and metrics

• Cross-team Collaboration

  - Partner with the Data Science and Engineering teams to align on schema, definitions, and sources

  - Support internal teams by improving access to reliable, aggregated data
   

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL (data modeling, joins, window functions, optimization)
• Solid experience with Python for data transformation and pipeline automation
• Familiarity with Looker or another BI visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Mode)
• Understanding of ETL / ELT workflows and principles of data quality
• Comfortable working across different data environments (Redshift, Databricks, Google Sheets, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and sense-checking skills before sharing data

• LTV/CRM Modeling & Data Infrastructure

  - Build, develop, and maintain robust LTV and CRM models, data pipelines, and dashboards

  - Improve model accuracy and scalability as the business evolves

  - Debug and optimize data flows to ensure reliability and reproducibility

• Strategic Analysis & Insights

  - Proactively identify and investigate LTV/CRM trends and key performance drivers

  - Evaluate unit economics and the impact of product or marketing changes

  - Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes of anomalies and provide actionable explanations

• Stakeholder Enablement

  - Partner with Growth, Marketing, and Finance to deliver insights that guide investment and product decisions

  - Communicate findings and model outputs clearly to non-technical audiences, both in writing and live discussions

  - Craft compelling data narratives that explain business performance, risks, and opportunities
   

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Science or Quantitative Analytics role
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels)
• Experience in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or machine learning
• Strong ability to translate technical work into clear business implications
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
• Strong English level: ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to perform business modeling and conduct robust statistical analysis
