    Position Summary

    You will be the technical expert representing CyDo Tech during sales conversations, client meetings, demos, and onboarding.

     

    This role combines:

    - Pre-sales architecture (60%)

    - Project implementation (20%)

    - Technical support/tickets for advanced issues (20%)

     

    You will work closely with the CEO and CTO on solution design, pricing, scoping, and ensuring smooth delivery of cybersecurity and IT projects. This is a senior technical role with high visibility and major influence on client acquisition and retention.

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    Pre-Sales & Solution Design

    - Lead technical discovery calls with prospects

    - Assess client environments, risks, compliance needs (HIPAA, FTC Safeguards, IRS Pub 4557, etc.)

    - Develop scopes of work (SOWs), architecture diagrams, and solution proposals

    - Present and demo CyDo Tech services

    - Build pricing models and assist with RFP responses

    - Collaborate with Sales to close deals

     

    Project Work & Implementation

    - Assist with onboarding new clients

    - Deploy security tools (ThreatLocker, EDR, RMM agents)

    - Support cloud migrations, firewall deployments, and network redesigns

    - Configure and tune SOC/SIEM integrations

    - Participate in vulnerability scanning and remediation planning

     

    Technical Support (Advanced)

    - Handle escalated tier-3 issues

    - Troubleshoot networking, servers, cloud identity, and security alerts

    - Provide expert guidance to HelpDesk when needed

     

    Required Experience & Skills

     

    Technical Expertise

    Cybersecurity:

    - EDR/MDR platforms

    - ThreatLocker or equivalent zero trust application control

    - DNS filtering

    - SOC/SIEM tools

    - Vulnerability scanners

    - CIS hardening, MFA enforcement, identity security

     

    MSP / IT Infrastructure:

    - Windows Server, AD, Group Policy

    - O365 / Exchange Online, Azure AD

    - VMware or Hyper-V

    - SonicWall, Cisco or similar firewalls

    - Networking fundamentals

    - RMM tools (Datto RMM preferred)

    - Backup & DR technologies (Datto, Veeam)

     

    Pre-Sales / Client-Facing Skills

    - Ability to translate technical concepts into business language

    - Experience designing multi-product IT/security solutions

    - Strong presentation and communication

    - Experience working with SMB/SME clients

    - Ability to work directly with CEOs/CFOs/CIOs

     

    Other Requirements

    - 4–8+ years in IT, MSP, or cybersecurity

    - Hands-on experience in both pre-sales and implementation

    - Strong autonomy and ownership mindset

     

    Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

    - CompTIA Security+, CySA+

    - Network+ or CCNA

    - MS-900 / AZ-104 / MS-102

    - CISSP or similar

    - SonicWall or other firewall certifications
