Type: Freelance / Contract (B2B)
Compensation: Hourly or per-task (negotiated)About
Hi, I’m Bohdan:)
I’m setting up a new multi-asset trading desk and I’m looking for a Trading Operations Analyst to help with analytical and operational tasks around trading data. This role is research/support-focused: you will work with datasets, reports, and post-trade analytics to help decisions be made faster and with higher confidence.
What you’ll do
- Perform post-trade analysis and prepare concise reports (tables + charts)
- Break down performance by
- instruments/tickers
- time windows
- trade reasons/tags (if provided)
- holding time / entry quality buckets (if applicable)
- Detect anomalies and data-quality issues (missing fields, outliers, inconsistent logs)
- Produce clear visualisations and summaries that can be used in decision-making
- Communicate findings clearly and defend conclusions when challenged
Requirements
- Strong statistical analysis skills (practical, not academic)
- Strong Python for data analysis (pandas / numpy; polars is a plus)
- Strong data visualisation skills (matplotlib / plotly; ability to present insights)
- Ability to state conclusions under pressure (clear, direct, defendable)
- High attention to detail and strong ownership of output quality
- Ukrainian PE (FOP) or equivalent legal ability to provide services (B2B)
- Must have full legal right to provide services — no visa sponsorship
Note: Strong analytical thinking and clarity of reasoning are valued more than years of formal work experience.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with trading / market data
- Familiarity with performance metrics (PnL attribution, drawdown, slippage concepts)
- Availability for regular Warsaw/London meetups
Compensation
I’m open to negotiating pay depending on task difficulty:
- hourly rate, or
- fixed price per deliverable
Selection process
- Intro call (fit + expectations + availability) + Light analytical task (quick, practical)
- Post-trade analysis test (more realistic, based on sample data)
Disclaimer
- Contract / freelance only
- No visa sponsorship
- Long-term collaboration possible if the fit is strong

Quant Developer (Low-Latency / HFT)

Type: Freelance / Contract (B2B)
Compensation: Negotiated individually
Ownership: PnL-linked / ownership-based roleContext
A high-performance trading infrastructure is developing for low-latency, multi-asset trading.
Role
Work on core trading systems where:
- correctness is critical
- latency is a first-order constraint
- predictability matters more than feature velocity
This is a PnL ownership role — responsibility and compensation are aligned with outcomes.
Scope of work
- Low-latency trading components:
- market data ingestion
- order execution
- internal messaging
- Performance-critical systems implemented in Rust
- End-to-end data path optimisation (from socket to decision)
- Design and implementation of:
- lock-free / wait-free data structures
- deterministic concurrency models
- Profiling, benchmarking, and bottleneck elimination
- Systems work close to the metal, where abstractions are explicitly questioned
Requirements (Must-have)
- Prior work on HFT, market making, or exchange infrastructure
- Excellent Rust:
- ownership model
- lifetimes
- memory semantics
- Deep understanding of:
- data structures
- concurrency and memory ordering
- operating systems
- networking internals
- Practical experience with:
- Linux performance tuning
- multithreaded systems under sustained load
- Ability to reason about system behaviour under stress and failure conditions
Nice to have
- Kernel-bypass networking (DPDK, io_uring, AF_XDP, etc.)
- Experience with low-latency messaging
- FPGA / hardware acceleration exposure
Notes
- Contract / B2B only
- No visa sponsorship
- Position may remain open without immediate hiring
