We are looking for a Technical Lead with strong communication and presales skills to join our team.

This is a hybrid role combining technical leadership, client communication, and presales activities. You will be actively involved in client calls (Upwork and beyond), solution design, and team coordination, helping us win new projects and deliver high-quality solutions.

We need someone who is not only technically strong but also confident in English communication, understands client needs, and can effectively present and sell solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in client calls (primarily via Upwork) to gather requirements and present solutions
• Drive presales activities: solution design, estimations, technical proposals
• Act as a bridge between clients and the development team
• Lead and coordinate the team involved in project delivery
• Design scalable and efficient system architectures
• Leverage AI tools and LLMs to accelerate development and improve solutions
• Ensure high-quality delivery and technical excellence
• Support team members with technical guidance and decision-making

Technical Expertise:

• Strong experience with Node.js (NestJS), React, Next.js
• Experience with React Native is a plus
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL / MSSQL
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• CI/CD and DevOps best practices

AI & Modern Development:

• Strong hands-on experience with AI-powered coding tools such as Claude (Anthropic), Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Ability to effectively use AI tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and rapid prototyping
• Understanding how to structure prompts and workflows to get high-quality, production-ready code
• Experience integrating AI into the development workflow to increase team productivity

Communication & Presales:

• Strong spoken English (Upper-Intermediate+ / Advanced)
• Experience participating in client calls, discovery phases, or presales
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Confidence in presenting and “selling” technical ideas

Leadership:

• Experience leading or mentoring a development team
• Strong ownership and decision-making skills

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working directly with clients is a big plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Upwork or similar freelance platforms
• Experience in startup environments or fast-paced teams
• Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes

• Experience building or scaling AI-driven products

You are:

QA with experience/knowledge of:

• Having knowledge of the Fundamental Test Process
• Understanding Agile methodology
• Web Applications and specifics of their testing
• Testing techniques
• Preparing test design according to the defined test approach
• Performing defect analysis and writing detailed and helpful defect reports with expected results for resolving defect
• Creating, updating, supporting, and providing the review of requirements, user stories or other documents related to QC activities on a project
• API Testing (will be a plus)

• Upper Intermediate English level

   

Your responsibilities:

• Participating in all aspects of the QA product lifecycle
• Designing tests
• Preparation of test cases
• Performing root cause analysis on defects in a test environment
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities
• Active participation in Scrum meetings, iteration planning, and feature demos

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of the Fundamental Test Process
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of VPN protocols and technologies (IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard, SSL/TLS VPN)
• Understanding of core networking concepts: OSI model, TCP/IP stack, routing, DNS, firewalls, NAT, and subnetting
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and OWASP testing guidelines
• Experience testing network security features: authentication, encryption, access control, and session management
• Web application testing experience and understanding of its specifics
• Proficiency in testing techniques and test design (boundary analysis, equivalence partitioning, exploratory testing)
• Ability to prepare test designs aligned with the defined test approach
• Skilled in defect analysis and writing clear, detailed bug reports with reproduction steps and expected results
• Experience creating, updating, and reviewing requirements, user stories, and QA-related documentation
• API testing experience (REST/gRPC), including security-focused API tests — strong plus
• Familiarity with network testing tools: Wireshark, nmap, curl, Postman, or similar

• Upper Intermediate English level (B2+)

   

Your responsibilities:

• Participating in all aspects of the QA product lifecycle
• Designing and executing test cases for VPN connectivity, tunneling, failover, and security scenarios
• Testing VPN behavior across different network conditions: packet loss, latency, NAT traversal, and split tunneling
• Verifying authentication flows (MFA, certificate-based auth, SSO integration)
• Performing root cause analysis on defects found in test environments
• Validating encryption correctness, data integrity, and session handling
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities

• Collaborating with developers and security engineers to maintain high product quality

Our Requirements:

• You are located in Lviv
• 4-5 years in Project Management
• English level: Upper-Intermediate+
• Understanding of SDLC
• Understanding of methodologies(especially SCRUM framework)
• Practical experience working with T&M and Fixed-price projects
• Practical experience working with project management tools(Jira, Monday, ClickUp, etc.)
• Practical experience running scrum ceremonies(planning, daily scrums, retro, etc.)
• Experience with invoicing and cost management
• Practical experience in People Management(1:1, performance appraisals, people development plan, etc.)

• Practical experience with client-facing and managing customer expectations

   

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage 2-3 small projects at the same time (be responsible for timeline, scope, and budget)
• Manage customer expectations at all stages of the project
• Create tasks and stories for devs
• Conduct scrum ceremonies (daily scrums, planning, etc.)
• People Management (regular 1:1, working with HR on PDP and people salary roadmap, conflict solving)
• Create monthly invoices
• Report to C-level on project statuses
