We are launching a vetting platform for matching experts to businesses. This is more than just assessment tests but less than a full probation period. We are looking for an HR expert for a core position in our pre-seed startup.
Equity-Based Compensation
- Pre-salary period
Until you begin receiving your base salary in cash, you will be compensated in stock options. You will be granted stock options with a notional value equal to 2× your expected base salary, pro-rated for the period before your salary starts, subject to board approval and the terms of the Company’s equity incentive plan. - After the seed round
Once the Company closes its seed financing round, you will start receiving your agreed base salary in cash. Any additional agreed compensation above the base salary will be delivered in the form of stock options that vest over time in accordance with the Company’s standard vesting schedule. - Liquidity on vested equity
In connection with the seed round and any subsequent qualified financing rounds, and subject to applicable law, Company policy, and investor/board approval, you may be allowed to sell a portion of your vested shares (secondary liquidity).

The Mission
We are building Check Lab — a platform that bridges the gap between gig workers and businesses. We aren't just building yet another marketplace app; we are building a complex HRM system with AI, Background Checks, and a Vetting Engine all in one.
We are looking for an HR/Recruiter to own team capacity building. You won't just be interviewing candidates; you will be building the processes that drive and execute this project, and you will grow into the role of HRD (Head of HR).

You will be responsible for the success of our MVP and GTM by engaging the right people for our startup.
