Our Payments team is launching a brand-new trading solution, and we're looking for a strong Java engineer to join as the second developer in a full-featured product team (QA, DevOps, Team Lead, Architect). You’ll help drive the direction of the product from day one.

💡 You’re a great fit if you have:
– 5+ years of experience with Java (Spring, Hibernate, JPA)
– 2+ years with Angular / TypeScript / HTML / CSS
– Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL is a big plus)
– Familiarity with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, REST APIs, unit testing
– Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment

About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and proactive Product Designer to join us as the sole design specialist responsible for shaping the user experience across multiple projects and products company-wide. This unique opportunity means you will lead design efforts independently, collaborating closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers across diverse fintech initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in product design, covering both web and mobile applications.
• Proven track record working proactively and independently in a product design role, ideally as the sole or lead designer.
• Strong experience in the fintech industry or related financial domains.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams and projects.
• Expertise with design tools like Figma and a solid understanding of design systems.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and running A/B tests.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data in design decisions.
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
   

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design of intuitive, user-friendly interfaces across multiple products and projects spanning digital payments, wallets, trading, and more for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Conduct and apply user research and usability testing to validate and improve designs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and engineers to ensure designs meet business and technical requirements.
• Proactively gather feedback and iterate on design solutions.
• Stay ahead of fintech trends and regulatory requirements to inform product design.
• Drive innovation and provide unique design solutions that differentiate Ceron’s products in the market.
   

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of fintech regulations and compliance (e.g., PSD2).
• Experience with tools like Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.

Requirements:

1. Solid experience (3 years +) with business requirements analysis in the IT domain.
2. Ability to transformative business requirements to consistent requirements specifications for developers (web, mobile) & designer teams.
3. Strong analytical skills to make a critical assessment of the information from numerous sources.
4. Systems thinking and functional decomposition skills.
5. Knowledge of the describing tasks Agile methodology: epic, feature, story, tasks.
6. Understanding of principles and specifics SDLC.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills.
8. Upper-intermediate written and verbal English.
9. Bachelor or MSc degree in computer science, finance, or related field is a plus.
10. Knowledge and expertise in Fintech area is a strong plus.
11. Knowledge of business process description methodologies is a plus (BPMN).

Responsibilities:

1. Close collaboration with the business team (clients support, payments department, compliance teams etc).
2. Gather business requirements from key stakeholders considering product consistency and ideology. 
3. Decompose function delivery on stages to meet business needs progressively.
4. Assist with requirements gathering and digitalization on all task lifecycle stages.
5. Create requirements specification for developers & designers team.
6. Create specifications for different APIs integration.
7. Compose entity descriptions and data flow diagrams.
8. Create customer product specifications and run product demos.
