Tasks and Responsibilities

Jointly lead the realization team with platform focus on developing a RedHat OpenShift IT/OT platform
Enable and upskill junior colleagues in RedHat OpenShift
Delegate and structure development efforts in the realization team

Hard Skills

Setting up Kubernetes (OpenShift) clusters
Experience with Container Storage Interface (CSI)
Experience with Kubernetes roles & roles binding

Experience with Backup and restore in OpenShift

Your Role

• Should have expertise on at least 2 PACO nodes for design and deployment independently
• Check and validate the TSD and highlight any gaps, risks in solution to Presales and other stakeholders
• Responsible to ensure Software compatibility checks and highlighting any deviation
• Responsible for HLD creation and presentation with Customer
• Responsible for CIQ preparation as per HLD, dimensioning and inputs from customer
• Responsible for LLD creation as per HLD and CIQ inputs
• Responsible for Data fill/backfill creation as per LLD/CIQ by using available automation tools
• Responsible to validate project activity MOP
• Responsible for Preparation of migration and go live strategy in consent with TPM and customer
• Responsible for maintaining Design changes during project lifecycle
• Responsible to Analyze design and prepare changes from SU perspective
• Responsible for Bug scrubbing before go live of nodes
• Responsible for Functional and nonfunctional ATP TOL (Test Object list) creation in discussion with customer
• Troubleshooting support to SE and analysis of Traces

You will join the Advanced Analytics team of a leading multinational energy company, working on one of the most technically demanding applications of machine learning in the engineering domain. The mission is to augment the upstream design configuration process for complex mechanical equipment - reducing manual iteration cycles before simulation software is ever invoked. This role sits at the intersection of applied ML and mechanical engineering, working directly with senior engineering stakeholders on highly bespoke, domain-specific datasets.

What You Will Do

· Analyze and model FEA-derived engineering datasets - load cases, material properties, geometric configurations - to build ML-based surrogate models that predict optimal design configurations.

· Apply uncertainty quantification techniques to assess model confidence and communicate prediction reliability to engineering stakeholders.

· Implement active learning strategies to intelligently prioritize the most informative simulation runs, minimizing the number of costly iterations required to train robust models.

· Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and product management to translate domain constraints into well-defined ML problem formulations.

· Select, justify and implement appropriate ML approaches - regression, ensemble methods, neural networks based on dataset characteristics, and defend those choices with technical rigor.

· Build, validate and iterate on models using Python in an AWS environment.

· Work semi-autonomously: take high-level requirements, structure the problem independently and drive execution with minimal oversight.

Mush Have

· Mechanical or physical engineering domain experience - hands-on exposure to engineering datasets involving loads, stress, pressure, material properties or structural behavior. Aerospace, subsea, automotive and heavy industry backgrounds are all relevant.

· FEA dataset fluency - you understand what simulation output data looks like, how it is structured and what the physical quantities represent. Operational knowledge of ANSYS or Abaqus is not required, but you must have worked with data generated by tools of this kind.

· Strong ML foundations - deep grounding in mathematics and statistics. You can justify algorithm selection, explain model behavior and diagnose failure modes. You do not treat ML as a black box.

· Uncertainty quantification - applied UQ experience in an engineering or scientific context.

· Active learning - practical experience designing or implementing active learning loops to reduce the number of expensive simulations runs needed to train reliable models.

· Production-quality Python — clean, maintainable ML code built for real engineering workflows.

· Autonomous working style — you can take high-level requirements, structure the problem independently and deliver without daily oversight.

What Will Set You Apart

· Experience with surrogate modelling, design space exploration or simulation data regression.

· Familiarity with FEA/CFD simulation workflows (ANSYS, Abaqus, Fluent) - you do not need to operate these tools, but understanding the workflow is a meaningful advantage.

· Background in physics-informed ML or scientific computing.

· AWS experience for model development and deployment.

Presently we expand our Ukraine VLSI team. You'd be able to work on projects in one team with Ukrainian engineers. Our Senior stuff is open for knowledge sharing on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of Physical Design in full chip or block level in extremely advanced technologies nodes (10nm and below);
• In deep Floorplanning, partitioning/budgeting, power mesh distribution, clock tree planning and analysis, Scan re-ordering, placement, CTS, place and route;
• Cover all relevant activities related to timing analysis (closure through sign-off including SI/noise) ECO tasks (both functional and timing);
• In charge with all validation/qualification tasks: Formal Verification, EM/IR, DRC, LVS, Antenna, ERC analysis and fixes;
• Be part of the overall Low Power solution development and implementation;
• Develop/enhance timing related scripts for clock skew analysis, critical path analysis, various IO interfaces, constraints partitioning/budgeting (from top-level to block level);

• Complete multiple design cycles of high complexity with little supervision.

   

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• 8+ years (desirable) in challenging RTL2GDSII work done on 10nm or below nodes with 500k – 1million+ instances in designs;
• Power user of PnR and timing analysis CAD tools from Synopsys and/or Cadence;
• Good knowledge of synthesis flow, insertDFT scan/coverage and optimization;
• Excellent floorplan, power plan, CTS, place, route, and timing closure skills;
• Proficiency using Perl/TCL/Python scripting and Makefile;
• Expertise in timing STA/PTSI – signal integrity closure, ECO generation/implementation skill;
• Excellent EM/IR, DRC, LVS, ERC analysis and fixing skills;
• Experience with sign-off tape-out closure work;

• Any top level – floor planning, pin assignment – tape out activities is a plus.
