Your team will be responsible for managing critical services that are essential to the success and sustainability of the client's organization. In simple terms, they handle transactional communication send‑outs to our customers via email, SMS, and push notifications.

YOUR TASKS

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, guiding engineers through ambiguity and open‑ended problems while ensuring strong support throughout delivery
• Support peers and stakeholders across the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design, and analytics—participating in ideation, clarifying technical constraints, and driving decisions that balance risks and trade‑offs
• Proactively identify project, process, technology, or business issues, advocate for them, and lead solutions
• Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and contributing to “keep the lights on” and on‑call efforts
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting or improving code review and design standards, and advocating for them across the broader engineering organization
• Help develop talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example

• Participate in the team's on‑call rotation (required for this role)

   

YOUR PROFILE

• 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using JVM language
• At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin
• Track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies such as AWS, MySQL/DynamoDB, and Kubernetes
• Experience defining the technical plan for delivering a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple, and extensible design
• Ability to write high‑quality, understandable, and reusable code
• Proficiency in navigating and making significant changes in large codebases, supported by strong tooling and safe engineering practices
• Demonstrated ownership of personal growth through proactive feedback‑seeking from peers, managers, and stakeholders

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with global engineering teams

Role overview:

We are seeking an experienced Audio Software Engineer to design, implement, and integrate real‑time DSP algorithms into the Windows audio stack, spanning DSP runtime environments, Windows Audio Processing Objects (APOs), and audio driver integration.

This role sits at the intersection of audio signal processing, Windows system software, and OEM / codec‑vendor integration, ensuring high‑quality, low‑latency, and certifiable audio solutions on Windows laptops and devices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize real‑time audio DSP algorithms (EQ, dynamics, limiting, transducer protection, spatial processing)
• Ensure DSP code meets real‑time performance, latency, and CPU constraints
• Design and implement Windows Audio Processing Objects (APOs) System Effects (SFX). Endpoint Effects (EFX)
• Integrate APOs with the Windows Audio Engine following Microsoft interface contracts and threading models.

• Work with OEM or codec‑vendor audio drivers.

   

Required skills:

• Strong C/C++ development experience
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing for audio
• Experience with real‑time, low‑latency systems
• Strong debugging skills (timing, threading, memory)
• Windows Audio Engine fundamentals
• Windows APO development
• WASAPI concepts
• Familiarity with audio driver stacks and codec integration

• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

   

Nice to have:

• Experience with audio certification flows (HLK, WHQL)
• Experience working with OEM laptop audio platforms
• Familiarity with spatial or virtualization audio
• MATLAB / Simulink or DSP modeling tools

• Audio measurement tools and lab workflows.

Role Summary
You will play the role of a semantic architect behind our AI‑powered Knowledge Graph supporting flavor and beverage innovation. This role is responsible for designing ontologies, SHACL validation frameworks, and YARRRML mapping rules that enable structured, high‑quality, machine‑interpretable R&D knowledge. Working closely with flavor scientists, product developers, data engineers, and AI teams, the Ontologist will translate complex scientific concepts into formal knowledge models, maintain consistent terminology and synonyms across domains, and ensure that all R&D data can be integrated, reasoned over, and leveraged for advanced discovery and formulation insights. This position is central to accelerating innovation, improving knowledge reuse, and enabling next‑generation intelligent tools for the R&D organization.

Key Responsibilities

1.Ontology Design & Semantic Modeling
Work with business stakeholders to identify and maintain a set of competency questions that the ontology must support.
Design, extend, and maintain ontologies covering ingredients, flavors, sensory attributes, formulations, human trials, regulatory concepts, and experimental processes.
Perform conceptual modeling with domain experts and translate concepts into formal RDF/OWL semantics.
2. SHACL Constraint and Validation Framework
Develop and maintain SHACL shapes to enforce data quality, structural validity, consistency rules, and business constraints across the Knowledge Graph.
Collaborate with data engineers to validate incoming data streams using SHACL rules and produce validation reports.
3. YARRRML & Semantic Mapping Design
Design and maintain YARRRML mapping rules to transform heterogeneous R&D datasets into RDF/Knowledge Graph structures.
Work with data engineering teams to operationalize RML/YARRRML pipelines within ingestion workflows.
4. Knowledge Graph Integration & Reasoning
Collaborate with the development team to integrate ontologies into reasoning engines, entity extraction workflows, and semantic search pipelines.
Support entity alignment, relationship modeling, and enrichment algorithms that drive flavor discovery.
5. Synonym, Terminology & Vocabulary Management
Build and maintain synonym dictionaries, alternative labels, multilingual terms, and context-specific vocabulary used by flavorists and product developers.
Ensure synonym management is consistently reflected across ontologies, SHACL shapes, and mapping rules.
Facilitate terminology alignment workshops with subject matter experts.
6. Governance, Versioning & Documentation
Establish and maintain ontology governance including version control, documentation, and change-management workflows.
Maintain high-quality documentation, competency questions, term definitions, and modeling rationales.
Required Qualification

Proven experience with RDF, RDFS, OWL, and SPARQL.
Hands-on work with ontology editors (e.g., Protégé, TopBraid Composer).
Strong understanding of SHACL, RML/YARRRML, or equivalent mapping frameworks.
Experience in semantic modeling and conceptual data design.
Experience in food science, chemistry, sensory science, or CPG R&D domains.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Knowledge Engineering, Information Science, Semantic Technologies, Computational Linguistics, or related fields.
Knowledge of industry ontologies or semantic standards (e.g., SKOS, SAREF, DOLCE, IOF).
Familiarity with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, GraphDB, Stardog) and knowledge-graph architectures.
