Your Role:

• Proven development experience in multiple customer delivery projects in the fulfilment domain.
• Hands-on experience with FlowOne solutions (Nice to have).
• Strong proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Solid understanding of OSS/BSS architecture and its role in telecom service delivery.
• Experience integrating OSS components (inventory, provisioning, orchestration) with BSS systems (CRM, billing).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

High-level knowledge and recent development experience in:

• Catalog-driven service orchestration.
• Service and resource inventory solutions.
• Provisioning for access technologies (xDSL, FTTx).
• Provisioning for core network technologies (IP/MPLS).

Your Project

We are looking for a skilled CNF Deployment Engineer with strong experience in deploying Cloud-Native Functions (CNFs) on Kubernetes and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of containerized environments, Linux operating systems, and network functions virtualization (NFV).
You will be responsible for managing, deploying, and troubleshooting CNF workloads on cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

Your Role

• Deploy and manage Cloud-Native Functions (CNF) on Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP) clusters.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of CNF applications using Kubernetes features such as Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA), Cluster Autoscaler, and Load Balancers.
• Optimize CNF deployments for performance and resource usage, including defining resource requests/limits and configuring pod autoscaling strategies.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of CNF deployments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, or similar.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNF deployments in production and pre-production environments, identifying and addressing problems related to networking, storage, load balancing, and security.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of CNF workloads.
• Implement best practices for security, resource management, and configuration of CNF deployments.
• Ensure that CNF applications meet security requirements, including handling secrets, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and vulnerability scanning.
• Act as a self-motivated problem solver with the ability to work independently and proactively address challenges.
• Maintain documentation and share knowledge related to CNF deployment processes, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
• Handle SSL certificate management, including generation, renewal, and troubleshooting for secure communication in CNF deployments.
• Configure and manage OpenShift routes, Kubernetes Ingress controllers, and related networking components for traffic routing to CNF applications

Your Profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP) clusters.
• Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Strong knowledge of network functions virtualization (NFV) and cloud-native design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) for automating deployments.
• Proficient in Helm and other Kubernetes deployment management tools.
• Experience in package management – image and chart repositories like Nexus, Harbor, etc.
• Experience in managing SSL certificates, OpenShift Routes, and Ingress controllers.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking (CNI), service meshes, and related technologies (e.g., Istio, Calico).
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or other monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes Operators, custom resource definitions (CRDs), and Kubernetes security features (e.g., RBAC, secrets management).
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, etc.).
• Experience with Shell scripting, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues in live production environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Telco CNF deployments in a production environment.
• Knowledge of OpenShift Operators and advanced features of OCP.
• Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, or equivalent.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role in a senior capacity.
• Strong proficiency in configuring and managing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (RedHat OCP, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Ideally  Kubernates(CKA) certification and one cloud platform certification (AWS,OCP,AZURE etc.).
• Good knowledge on hardware and storage (HPE/Dell/EMC).
• Experience in HW and/or storage migration required. 
• Proficiency with IP routers, switches, and firewalls (Nokia, HPE, Dell, Cisco) is require.
• Expertise/experience on MariaDB & Postgres databases.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Applications Onboarding experience with VNF and CNF products deployment and integration.
• Nice to have Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Knowledge of different ingress controllers (NGINX Ingress Controller, Traefik, etc.) and load balancing solutions (MetalLB, AWS ELB, Azure Load Balancer, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Shell, etc.) for automation and task scripting.
• Ability to perform upgrades of services and modify deployment files as part of continuous improvement processes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and troubleshooting techniques.- Must be familiar with networking concepts & understand the basic terminologies like VLAN, subnetting, routing and knowledge on DCN required

Your Role

• Support trouble tickets
• Replicate issues in the lab
• On-site support for the lab
• Support the supplier during deployment and upgrades
• Monitor alarms daily during normal working hours
• Conduct routing system maintenance and health checks, and work with the Supplier’s Care team to respond to and resolve system defects within agreed contractual SLAs.
• Create and route trouble tickets to client's Care as required
• Monitor and maintain licenses installed on AN products
• Participate in scheduled project meetings and review calls for care and trouble tickets as needed.
• Provide first-level support for critical and high-severity issues in the production system by escalating tickets to the Nokia Help Desk support team

Capgemini Engineering is looking for Packet Core Engineer to integrate a cloud transformation team, to migrate legacy EPC infrastructure to cloud based:

• Hands-on experience with packet core network components (e.g., SGSN, GGSN, MME, PGW).
• Strong understanding of mobile network standards (e.g., 4G/5G, LTE, VoLTE).
• Experience with Packet Core network testing and troubleshooting tools.
• Proficient in analyzing Packet Core call flows and signaling protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Integrate and configure packet core network components, ensuring interoperability and compliance with network standards.
• Analyze and document call flows across various nodes and interfaces in the packet core network.
• Troubleshoot call flow issues to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.
• Execute comprehensive acceptance test plans for new network elements and services.

YOUR PROFILE

• Telecommunications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background.
• Min 3 years of relevant work experience in IP Domain
• Good knowledge in IP Networking Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD.
• Understanding of Switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
• Product/Vendor knowledge/Certification on Ericsson / Nokia / Cisco / Juniper/ Huawei / F5 (at least any two).
