We are seeking a motivated and skilled Middle WordPress Developer to join our growing BESTIA development team.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress-based websites and web applications — ensuring clean, maintainable code and smooth user experience.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow technically while contributing to international client projects.

General requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in WordPress development;
• Proven experience in creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins;
• Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+);
• Experience working with ACF, WooCommerce, WPML or similar plugins;
• Understanding of WordPress architecture, optimization, and security basics;

• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows;

• Experience in REST API integration or headless WordPress;
• Understanding of SEO and website performance optimization;
• Experience in supporting and improving existing WordPress projects.
  
  Your main responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites and web applications for global clients;
• Build and customize themes, plugins, and integrations based on technical requirements;
• Collaborate with the design and backend teams to ensure seamless implementation;
• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and security;
• Write clean, maintainable, and documented code following best practices;
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in staging or production environments;
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release preparation;

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Middle Shopify Developer to join our BESTIA engineering team.
You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify-based eCommerce solutions — ensuring clean, scalable, and high-performing code that delivers great user experience and meets client business objectives.
 

General requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus development;
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+);
• Experience building custom Shopify themes and sections from scratch;
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs, Storefront API, and app integrations;
• Understanding of eCommerce architecture, checkout flow, and best UX practices;
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows;

Would be a plus:

• Understanding of headless Shopify setups or Hydrogen framework;
• Familiarity with SEO principles and performance optimization for eCommerce;
• Experience with third-party API integrations (CRM, ERP, payment gateways);
• Knowledge of Figma and the ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect layouts;
• Experience with Shopify Scripts, Flow, or Shopify Functions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Shopify stores and custom Shopify themes;
• Create dynamic, reusable sections and components using Liquid and modern JS;
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and external systems;
• Ensure site speed, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design;
• Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect front-end solutions;
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices;
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and code reviews;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing Shopify projects;
• Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time and with exceptional quality.
