Bead is hiring a mid–senior Product Designer to help shape and scale a live fintech platform used by partners, merchants, and internal teams.

We are building a production system with meaningful operational and workflow complexity, and we’re looking for a designer who thrives in structured environments and brings clarity to sophisticated products. This role combines systems thinking, strong execution discipline, and thoughtful product reasoning.

You will work closely with the Co-Founder / CPO, who defines product direction and strategy. From there, you’ll operate with autonomy between check-ins, develop well-reasoned solution paths, and translate complex concepts into clear, scalable design artifacts.

As a startup, we value flexibility and initiative. While your primary focus will be product design and system integrity, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute across adjacent areas as the platform evolves.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Bead’s Figma design system (components, variants, variables, scalable structure)
• Maintain large, multi-page Figma files with strong naming and reuse discipline
• Design complex B2B workflows across Partner, Merchant, and operational surfaces
• Present multiple solution options with rationale and tradeoffs
• Translate product conversations into clear implementation-ready artifacts
• Write or co-write structured Jira stories and epics
• Design for hierarchical account models and role-based permissions
• Bring clarity to data-heavy interfaces (transactions, settlements, account states)
• Maintain UX integrity in compliance-sensitive flows
• **Must be able to work Pacific Time hours

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years designing and shipping production SaaS products
• Advanced Figma proficiency (components, variants, auto layout, libraries; variables strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work within large, complex files and maintain and evolve a live design system
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to design for complex workflows, edge cases, and state logic
• Proven ability to write structured product documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows)
• Ability to translate product decisions into artifacts usable by Engineering, Operations, and Sales
• Strong written communication and organizational discipline
• Comfortable operating autonomously in a startup environment

Portfolio Requirements (Mandatory)

Applications must include a portfolio demonstrating:

• A complex system or workflow you designed
• Evidence of structured thinking, not just polished UI
• Examples of edge cases, states, or role-based logic
• Artifacts showing how design translated into shipped product

Applications without a portfolio or system-level examples will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fintech or regulated product experience
• Experience designing hierarchical or multi-tenant platforms
• Experience collaborating closely with backend-heavy engineering teams
• Familiarity with frontend implementation constraints (React or similar)
• Experience contributing to or stewarding documentation systems (Confluence or similar)

Overview
Bead is hiring a mid–senior level DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to professionalize and
scale our production cloud environment.
We are transitioning from build-stage infrastructure to production-grade reliability. This role
will own AWS scalability, CI/CD resilience, infrastructure security monitoring, incident
response discipline, and cloud cost optimization.
This is a hands-on execution role supporting production systems at scale, not a consulting or
advisory position.

Key Responsibilities
· Design and scale AWS infrastructure for production reliability
· Standardize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions focus)
· Own Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code
· Implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies
· Establish incident response procedures and runbooks
· Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability
· Triage AWS security alerts (GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail)
· Optimize cloud spend (Reserved Instances, Spot, right-sizing)
· Reduce executive dependency for infrastructure operations

Required Qualifications
· 3–5 years hands-on AWS DevOps experience
· Experience supporting production systems at scale
· Experience working with US-based startups or scale-ups
· AWS Certification (Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate minimum)
· Strong Terraform proficiency
· Strong GitHub Actions experience
· Docker experience (Kubernetes or ECS preferred)
· Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana)
· Scripting in Python or Bash

Preferred Qualifications
· AWS DevOps Professional, SysOps, or CKA certification
· Serverless architecture experience (Lambda, API Gateway)
· Multi-cloud exposure (GCP/Azure)
· CDN/Edge experience (CloudFront, Cloudflare, Vercel)

We're looking for a Production Support Engineer with strong fullstack engineering skills to join our team. You'll ensure the reliability and stability of our payment processing platform while actively contributing to improvements across the entire stack. This role blends reactive incident response with proactive development work to build more resilient systems.
Responsibilities
 

• Monitor, triage, and resolve production incidents across our distributed payment systems
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
• Develop and deploy fixes, patches, and improvements directly—not just escalate
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence
• Build and maintain internal tooling, dashboards, and automation to improve observability
• Configure and manage CloudWatch alarms, dashboards, and log insights queries
• Maintain and enhance GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with product engineering teams on system reliability and performance optimization
• Maintain and improve runbooks, alerting rules, and incident response procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a support or SRE-adjacent role
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework)
• Frontend development experience with React
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS)
• Proficiency with AWS CloudWatch for logging, metrics, alarms, and dashboards
• Experience with CloudWatch Logs Insights for querying and analyzing application logs
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions for building, testing, and deploying applications
• Experience writing and maintaining CI/CD workflows including automated testing, environment deployments, and release management
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with RESTful API design and debugging
• Strong troubleshooting skills across the full application stack
• Excellent communication skills for incident coordination and cross-team collaboration
