Baltic LEI AS is an international registration agent of Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) codes, headquartered in Estonia. Baltic LEI’s mission is to increase transparency and improve risk management in financial markets.
An LEI code is an international 20-character identifier, issued by GLEIF, a non-profit founded by the G20 countries. Financial institutions and supervisory organizations worldwide use LEI codes to identify parties in securities transactions.
Baltic LEI was founded with Estonian capital in 2017, and operates in 26 countries on 3 continents, managing more than 120'000 companies’ LEI codes, serving more than 150'000 monthly visitors.
