We integrate advanced automation, AI, and robotics to develop security and defense solutions. Our focus is on intelligent systems that combine embedded software, computer vision, and edge-AI for autonomous platforms.
 

We are looking for an engineer who understands that modern computer vision is built on deep learning - not classical algorithms. You will design and deploy CV systems for autonomous platforms in real-world defense conditions.
 

What you'll do:

• Develop high-performance C++ computer vision pipelines - detection, tracking, segmentation
• Integrate and optimize ML models on edge devices using TensorRT and ONNX Runtime
• Build real-time video pipelines - streaming, preprocessing, inference, post-processing
• Write Python for ML experiments, data processing, and simulation workflows
• Optimize system performance - multithreading, memory management, GPU acceleration
• Integrate cameras, sensors, and compute modules
• Develop on Embedded Linux with low-level hardware integration
• Debug and profile real-time systems under operational constraints
   

Technical skills

Must have:

• Strong C++ (C++17/20, STL, multithreading, memory management)
• Deep learning as the foundation of CV work - CNN architectures (YOLO, ResNet, EfficientDet), understanding of Transformer-based approaches (ViT, DETR)
• Hands-on ML deployment on edge devices - TensorRT, ONNX Runtime
• Python at ML engineer level - PyTorch or TensorFlow, NumPy, OpenCV
• Edge-AI platforms - Jetson, Hailo, Coral
• Video pipeline experience - GStreamer, FFmpeg
• Embedded Linux - Ubuntu, Debian or Yocto

• Git and CI/CD

• CUDA / GPU programming
• Model optimization - quantization, pruning
• ROS / ROS2
• Real-time systems and profiling tools
• Classical CV - calibration, 3D vision, SLAM

About the role

We are looking for a C++ / Robotics Engineer to take ownership of core robotics and perception-driven control systems within BabAI.

You will design, implement, and optimize real-time systems that connect AI detection pipelines with robotic behavior and embedded hardware. This role requires strong system-level thinking, performance awareness, and the ability to make systems work reliably outside the lab.

What you will do:

• Architect and develop high-performance C++ systems for robotics and perception
• Integrate AI detection and tracking pipelines into real-time control loops
• Design low-latency, fault-tolerant communication between system components
• Work directly with embedded platforms and sensors
• Lead debugging and performance optimization efforts on edge devices
• Define coding standards, architecture decisions, and technical direction
• Support field testing and production deployment
• Mentor junior engineers

What we are looking for:

• Strong modern C++ (C++17/20) experience in production systems
• Proven background in robotics, embedded systems, or real-time software
• Deep understanding of Linux, concurrency, memory, and performance tuning
• Experience working close to hardware and solving low-level issues
• Ability to design robust systems under real-world constraints
• Independent problem solver with ownership mindset

Nice to have:

• ROS / ROS2 in production environments
• Experience with UAVs, autonomous vehicles, or aerospace systems
• Embedded AI acceleration experience (Jetson, Hailo, FPGA, etc.)
• Sensor fusion and calibration experience
• Safety-critical or mission-critical system background
