Axisbits is a web development agency building high-quality custom software for clients worldwide. We’re expanding into mobile app development and are looking for an experienced React Native Developer who can lead the implementation of our first mobile product — an e-commerce app for multi-shop product search, ordering, and tracking.

You’ll join a team of strong backend and web developers, and will be the mobile lead, responsible for the architecture, setup, and delivery of the mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a new React Native mobile app (iOS & Android) from scratch.
• Set up the project architecture, tooling, CI/CD (Expo + EAS Build/Submit), and development workflows.

• Implement core features:

   

  • Authentication and user sessions
  • Product search and filtering (via REST APIs)
  • Shopping cart and checkout (Stripe integration)
  • Order tracking and push notifications
  • And others

   

• Integrate APIs from the backend team and collaborate on mobile-specific endpoints.
• Optimize app performance, handle caching, and ensure a smooth UX.
• Manage App Store / Play Store submissions.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code with good test coverage.
• Mentor internal team members who are new to mobile technologies.

Requirements

Must-have

• 3+ years of experience in React Native, with at least one published app in production (Expo or bare RN).
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React hooks, and modern state management.

• Proven experience with:

   

  • Expo + EAS Build/Submit
  • React Navigation or Expo Router
  • Stripe React Native SDK
  • Firebase (FCM/APNs) for push notifications
  • RESTful API integration and offline caching

   

• Familiarity with native modules and debugging on both iOS and Android.
• Ability to work independently, make architectural decisions, and lead delivery with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of mobile UX patterns and performance tuning.
• Good English communication (written & spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience with e-commerce apps or payment flows.
• Familiarity with App Store Connect and Google Play Console processes.
• Knowledge of native Swift/Kotlin basics for bridging.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
