AltexSoft is looking for a Motion Designer/Video Editor to join our marketing team. This person will be focused on creating engaging video materials for the AltexSoft YouTube channel (please check the channel to better understand the scope of work).

This role would ideally suit someone having experience in explainer videos, promos, commercials, presentations, and other formats of visual storytelling. We are happy to consider a candidate with a proactive and conceptual approach to visuals, eagerness to learn, and ability to deliver quality results within strict timeframes.
 

You Have

• Ability to visualize complex ideas and concepts in a simple way
• 1+ year of experience in motion design and/or video editing
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Intermediate English level
• Understanding the basics of motion and composition principles, layout, typography, color, and structure Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain design concepts

You Have

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including Solution Architecture or Senior AWS Developer roles.
• Strong experience designing large-scale distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven workflows.
• Proven expertise building cloud-native and serverless architectures, ideally on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, EventBridge, SQS)
• Hands-on development experience with Node.js, preferably in serverless-first environments.
• Understanding of modern front-end ecosystems, especially React/TypeScript.
• Solid grasp of architectural patterns, API design (OAuth2, OpenID Connect), security best practices, and cloud governance.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, stored procedures, JSON-based schemas, and data modeling for modern cloud systems
• Proficiency with DevOps workflows and IaC (Terraform/CDK), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (ECS preferred over EKS
