    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
    • Proven experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
    • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C# or Python).
    • Hands-on experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

    The role focuses on improving build performance, security, and reliability by reducing technical debt, cleaning up unused code, and eliminating Foreign Checked-In Binaries (FCIBs), with Project Streamline as a core area of responsibility.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Run and maintain Project Streamline workflows to clean up Windows OS codebase
    • Identify, analyze, and prioritize FCIBs and unused code for removal
    • Create and validate PRs using Streamline tooling and CI pipelines
    • Collaborate with code-owning teams, follow up on PR reviews, and drive changes to completion
    • Monitor OS branch health after check-ins; investigate issues, apply fixes or revert changes when needed
