Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business goals, focusing on accelerating growth and enhancing competitive advantage. Ensure our trading infrastructure supports high-volume, low-latency trading with maximum uptime;
• Lead the technology team by fostering an innovative, collaborative, and high-performance culture. Mentor and develop the team to ensure they are proficient in the latest technologies and methodologies;
• Drive technological innovation to improve trading platforms, back-office systems, and client-facing applications. Ensure our technology stack is scalable, reliable, and can support rapid growth and international expansion;
• Oversee the development and implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to protect client data and company assets. Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and standards;
• Negotiate and manage relationships with software vendors, technology partners, and service providers to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality and service;
• Regularly review and optimize the performance of the IT infrastructure and systems to ensure they meet the demands of the business, including high transaction volumes and fast execution speeds;
• Ensure that technology initiatives drive improved user experience and customer satisfaction. Be proactive in identifying and implementing technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of traders;
• Stay abreast of new trends and technologies in the financial and tech industries. Evaluate and propose the adoption of new technologies that can benefit the company.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in a technology role preferably in the financial services or trading industry, ideally with a strong background in developing and optimising trading platforms like MT4 and MT5
• At least 5 years on leadership position as CTO, Director of Engineering etc.
• Proven track record of developing and executing technology strategies that have contributed to measurable business growth;
• Extensive experience with trading platforms, financial software development, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management;
• Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing technology team;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
• Deep understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements relevant to the trading industry;
• Fluent in East Slavic languages;
• Willingness to work from Cyprus office.

Role Overview

This role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value, collaborate closely with product and commercial teams, and ensure the successful delivery of a scalable, AI-driven platform.
 

Requirements:

• Software development experience.
• 6+ years of strong Python development experience.
• Proven expertise with Django and Celery.
• 1+ years of solid Angular 19 frontend development experience.
• AI/ML knowledge and practical implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable system design.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience using modern AI-powered development tools to increase productivity.

Опис роботи: Versi Bionics — українська компанія, що розробляє біонічні протези верхніх кінцівок (міоелектричні кисті, керування за ЕМГ). Шукаємо on-site керівника, щоб очолити інженерну команду, займатся щоденною технічною координацією й контролем якості, у взаємодії з віддаленим CTO.

• Практичний досвід управління розробкою фізичного продукту від прототипу до готового виробу.
• Продуктове мислення, вміння керувати пріоритетами та приймати рішення в умовах обмежених ресурсів.

Додатковою перевагою буде:

• Досвід роботи у сфері medtech, робототехніки або протезування.
• Розуміння нормативних вимог та процесів сертифікації медичних виробів (MDR, FDA або аналогічних стандартів).

• досвід управління R&D або інженерними командами від 3 років
• досвід створення та розвитку нових технічних продуктів
• практичний досвід управління мультидисциплінарними командами
• глибоке розуміння процесів розробки hardware та software та їх взаємної інтеграції в єдиний продукт
• досвід управління кількома проєктами одночасно
• знання сучасних методологій управління проєктами (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Stage-Gate або Waterfall)
• сильні лідерські, комунікаційні та організаційні навички

Буде плюсом (nice-to-have):

• досвід роботи у MilTech, Aerospace, Robotics, Automotive, Electronics або Defence Tech
• досвід розробки безпілотних систем (UAV), автономних платформ або роботизованих комплексів
• знання Embedded Systems, Computer Vision, AI/ML або систем управління польотом
• досвід сертифікації та виведення продукту у серійне виробництво

Управління розробкою продукту

• управління повним циклом розробки нових продуктів: від ідеї та дослідження до тестування, впровадження та передачі у виробництво
• забезпечення узгодженої розробки апаратної (hardware) та програмної (software) частини продукту як єдиної системи
• організація розробки технічної документації, прототипування та випробувань
• контроль технічної якості продуктів і дотримання інженерних стандартів

Управління командою

• управління командою інженерів, конструкторів, Embedded-розробників, електронників та інших технічних спеціалістів
• розвиток команди, наставництво та підвищення професійної експертизи співробітників

Планування та координація

• планування ресурсів, пріоритетів, бюджету та термінів реалізації проєктів
• координація роботи між R&D, виробництвом, QC та іншими підрозділами
