About the role

We're looking for a Senior B Engineer who brings strong backend fundamentals and an AI-native engineering mindset to a mature, multi-tenant B2B hiring marketplace platform. This is a high-ownership role: you'll be the primary backend engineer on a lean team, responsible for performance, reliability, and feature development across a complex Rails and React codebase serving multiple enterprise clients.
We're not looking for someone who has "used Copilot a bit" - we want an engineer who works with agentic coding tools as part of their daily workflow and can critically evaluate what those tools produce.

🔎🏢 Основна спеціалізація - великі онлайн-маркетплейси в категоріях Real Estate, Automotive, Job Portals та General Classifieds (універсальні платформи для приватних оголошень). За концепцією продукти нагадують OLX, Auto.ria та Work.ua. Загальна аудиторія - мільйони користувачів щодня. Команда інженерів - 30+ осіб. Технічна культура - інженерна, із високими вимогами до якості коду та глибини розуміння стеку.

⚙️ Технологічний стек проєктів:
• Backend: Ruby, RoR (завжди остання версія), Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, GraphQL;
• Frontend: React, React Native, Next.js;
• Хмарні платформи: AWS, GCP.

📜 Основні завдання:
• Розробка та підтримка платіжних інтеграцій з локальними та міжнародними провайдерами;
• Оптимізація продуктивності та масштабування існуючих рішень;
• Розв’язання нетривіальних задач на стику бізнес-логіки й технологій;
• Робота в тісній зв’язці з архітекторами, продуктовими командами та фронтендом;
• Дотримання принципів інженерного мислення: відповідальність за результат, а не лише за реалізацію.

✅ Очікування від кандидата:
• Досвід розробки на Ruby on Rails - від 7 років;
• Розуміння принципів побудови високонавантажених систем;
• Участь у розробці складних проєктів, бажано - у проектуванні архітектурних рішень;
• Досвід роботи з GraphQL - буде перевагою;
• Англійська на рівні читання технічної документації.

🧪 Процес відбору:
• Технічне інтерв’ю з архітектором компанії (формат live-coding, до 2 годин);
• Зустріч з Engineering Director;
• Офер.
