Requirements

• 4+ years of practical testing experience: Deep understanding of testing processes, types of testing (functional, regression, integration, load testing, etc.), and their practical application;
• Knowledge of Agile SDLC (software development lifecycle): Understanding the principles of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.);
• Understanding and applying strategies for investigation, troubleshooting, and problem localization: Experience in finding, analyzing, and resolving defects;
• Skills in developing and maintaining comprehensive test documentation: Ability to create test plans, test cases, defect reports, etc.

Responsibilities

• Creating general test documentation (strategy, standards): Developing and maintaining documentation that regulates testing processes, standards, and methodologies;
• Functional backend testing: Testing the server-side of the software to ensure it meets requirements;
• Functional front-end testing: Testing the user interface to ensure usability and correct operation;
• Ensuring interim and final control of tasks assigned to the department: Monitoring progress, identifying issues, and ensuring timely task completion;
• Creating and executing test cases/checklists: Developing test scenarios and executing them to verify product functionality;
• Executing manual regression tests: Checking the software after changes to ensure no new bugs have been introduced;
• Executing functional and non-functional testing: Comprehensive testing of the product, including performance, security, and other aspects;
• Reviewing test cases: Assessing and evaluating the quality of test scenarios created by team members;
• Reporting defects and test results: Documenting found defects and the results of the tests performed;
• Following the QA process: Adhering to standard quality assurance procedures and maintaining high testing standards.

- Review business/technical requirements and identify data-related risks early (validation rules, constraints, corner cases);

- Perform functional and basic non-functional manual testing (smoke, sanity, regression);

- Log defects with clear reproduction steps, expected/actual results, and supporting evidence (screenshots, exported samples, import files);

- Assist with DB-level verification when allowed: run/read SQL queries to confirm imports, detect duplicates, and compare expected vs actual figures;

- Collaborate with developers/BA/PM to clarify requirements and confirm fixes (including re-testing after data fixes);

- Support client communication when needed (e.g., explaining import errors, data cleanup steps, validation results);

- Validate data imports and migrations:

• check templates, required fields, formats, and mapping logic;
• verify imported results in Odoo (counts, duplicates, relationships, totals);
• troubleshoot common import issues (wrong encoding, missing references, wrong data types, constraint errors).

На даний момент не розглядаємо дистанційний формат роботи. Наш офіс знаходиться у місті Вінниця.

Що робити:

• Розробляти тест-кейси, чек-листи для пристроїв охоронних та протипожежних систем;
• Проводити software та hardware тестування пристроїв;
• Виявляти та досліджувати проблеми щодо функціонування пристроїв;
• Оформляти та виставляти знайдені баги розробникам пристроїв через bug-tracking систему компанії;
• Обговорювати знайдені баги з розробниками. Супроводжувати їх вирішення;
• Аналізувати та проводити оптимізацію процесу тестування;
• Виявляти слабкі місця в проекті та надавати пропозиції по їх вирішенню.

Необхідний досвід та навички:

• Знання основ тестування, які види тестування бувають, підходи, тощо;
• Розуміння як формуються тест-кейси, чек-листи. Як оформляються баги по розробленим тест-кейсам;
• Наявність таких якостей як: організованість, наполегливість, здатність швидко навчатися, відповідальність, розвинене логічне мислення;
• Робота в команді;
• Технічна освіта.

Буде плюсом:

• Наявність досвіду тестування hardware продуктів;
• Знання технічної англійської на рівні читання та розуміння тексту;
• Базові знання схемотехніки;
• Досвід роботи з мікроконтролерами;
• Досвід роботи з bug-tracking системами.
