This role owns the API layer that connects the Kubernetes lifecycle platform to the rest of the business.
 

What This Person Will Build

•  gRPC and REST APIs for seat/workspace provisioning, deprovisioning, cluster inventory, and node health.
•  Idempotent provisioning flows that create Kubernetes namespaces, quotas, and policy objects 
• Mock servers and client SDKs so dependent teams can build before the full platform is ready
• API validation, error models, retry semantics, load tests, and contract tests
•  Integration tests against live Kubernetes clusters and downstream systems

Must-Have Background

• Strong Go backend experience with gRPC, protobuf, REST, and API design
•  Kubernetes API experience: namespaces, ResourceQuota, RBAC, NetworkPolicy, admission flows, or multi-tenant cluster design
•  Experience with idempotency, concurrency, retries, partial failure, and contract testing

• Experience designing prompts with explicit evaluation criteria, few-shot techniques, structured output via JSON schemas, and validation/retry loops for reliable LLM responses.

ElevateOS has been improving the resident experience for over seven years. We created a single, all-in-one platform that makes it easy for property managers and resident staff to work together. Our primary technology stack revolves around JavaScript. We use React for the front-end, Node.js for the back-end, and React Native for mobile development.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of development experience with Node.js;
- Practical knowledge of VanillaJS, Typescript, Express-like framework;
- Hands-on experience creating robust RESTful API’s and designing scalable back-end architecture;
