About the role

We're looking for a Senior B Engineer who brings strong backend fundamentals and an AI-native engineering mindset to a mature, multi-tenant B2B hiring marketplace platform. This is a high-ownership role: you'll be the primary backend engineer on a lean team, responsible for performance, reliability, and feature development across a complex Rails and React codebase serving multiple enterprise clients.
We're not looking for someone who has "used Copilot a bit" - we want an engineer who works with agentic coding tools as part of their daily workflow and can critically evaluate what those tools produce.

About the role:
We are looking for a hands-on Sr. Machine Learning / Computer Vision Engineer with strong practical experience in designing, training, evaluating, and improving vision systems for real-world applications. The ideal candidate combines solid theoretical ML/CV fundamentals with an engineering mindset and is comfortable taking ownership of the full pipeline, from data preparation and experimentation to model optimization and deployment.

Responsibilities:
- Design, train, evaluate, and improve machine learning and computer vision models for real-world production use cases
- Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, including data collection support, preprocessing, feature engineering, training, validation, and inference
- Develop solutions across both computer vision and machine learning tasks depending on business needs
- Perform error analysis, diagnose model weaknesses, and drive improvements in accuracy, robustness, and reliability
- Select and justify appropriate methods and model architectures based on dataset characteristics, product constraints, and deployment requirements
- Work with challenging real-world data, including noisy, limited, imbalanced, or weakly labeled datasets
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business problems into practical ML solutions

Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning / Computer Vision
- Strong senior-level practical expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and applied model development
- Hands-on experience with tasks such as object detection, image classification, anomaly detection, feature-based approaches, or similar
- Solid understanding of classical ML methods, including tree-based models, linear models, feature engineering, model selection, and evaluation
- Strong Python skills and practical experience with PyTorch, OpenCV, and common ML tooling
- Experience building full ML workflows including data preparation, augmentation, preprocessing, training, validation, testing, and deployment handoff
- Strong understanding of model evaluation, debugging, overfitting, generalization, optimization, and experiment-driven improvement
- Ability to write clean, modular, maintainable code and independently own technical solutions
- Strong analytical thinking, engineering maturity, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:
- Experience in adjacent ML domains such as time-series, audio, or NLP
- Experience with embedding-based methods, metric learning, retrieval systems, or memory-bank approaches
- Practical experience with model optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, distillation, or related efficiency-focused approaches

We are looking for an Integration Team Lead to own the architecture and reliability of our advertising platform integrations while leading a small engineering team and driving the integration roadmap. In this role, you will design and scale data pipelines that process large volumes of advertising data, ensure stable data synchronization across external marketing platforms, and lead new integration initiatives from API evaluation to production rollout. You will play a key role in shaping the platform’s integration strategy, mentoring engineers, and building scalable, AI-enabled integration solutions that power our core data infrastructure.

Requirements
- 5+ years in backend/data engineering, including 2+ years working with advertising/marketing APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Marketing API and/or LinkedIn Marketing API: real work with rate limits, async reports, breakdowns, attribution windows.
- Strong Python skills: production-grade code with error handling, logging, and tests.
- Experience leading a team (2+ people): code reviews, task planning, growing engineers.
- Solid understanding of data pipeline patterns: idempotency, backfill, incremental sync, schema evolution.
- Experience with GCP or comparable cloud (AWS/Azure) at the service design level.

- Actively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) in daily engineering workflows for code generation, debugging, documentation, and data pipeline design, applying sound engineering judgment when validating AI-generated outputs.

- Knowledge of the Programmatic ecosystem: DV360, The Trade Desk, OpenRTB.

Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and evolution of all platform integrations: Meta Marketing API, LinkedIn Marketing API, Programmatic channels (DV360, The Trade Desk, etc.).
- Lead a team of 2-4 engineers: code reviews, sprint planning, mentorship.
- Design and maintain data pipelines: Ad Platform APIs to BigQuery/ClickHouse via Cloud Run Jobs and n8n workflows.
