    About us:

We’re a small, remote-first startup building an AI-first ATS and recruiting product for SMBs. We move fast, value ownership and practical thinking, and need someone who can own the entire design function - from research and strategy to UI, prototyping and a living design system.

Part-time Product UI/UX Designer who can lead product design end-to-end. About the Project

We’re hiring a UI/UX Designer (UI-heavy) to support one of the largest US financial media platforms (think Bloomberg-style).

Most of the work will be design support tasks: banners, social media visuals, presentations, and simple interface updates. Occasionally, there will be bigger assignments like landing pages or individual screens. The style and references are already established — the focus is on adapting and delivering quickly and consistently.

You’ll have your own steady scope of work with clear ownership, while working side by side with our senior designer and receiving mentorship when needed.

    How You’ll Contribute

    • Create banners, social media posts, and presentations in Figma (daily).
    • Adapt and re-use existing style guidelines, with small creative adjustments when needed.
    • Deliver quick fixes or updates for pages and simple interface screens.
    • Occasionally work on landing page hero sections or other one-off layouts.
    • Keep files structured and hand-off friendly for review and delivery.
    • (Nice to have) Use AI tools to generate assets and refine them into clean visuals.

What Makes You a Good Fit

    • 1.5–3+ years of experience in UI/graphic design (agency or product).
    • Confident with Figma: clean layouts, components, variants, responsive basics.
    • Strong eye for detail, composition, and typography.
    • Comfortable working with repetitive daily tasks and delivering on time.
    • English: Intermediate (reading tasks, Slack communication, rare calls).

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with design systems (maintaining, not necessarily building).
    • Basic motion/animation in Figma (Smart Animate, simple transitions).
    • Familiarity with AI design tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT-image) and ability to clean up results.
    • Experience adapting visuals for multiple formats (desktop, mobile, social media).

    Hiring Process

    1. Portfolio screening (quick style & composition review).
    2. Intro call (30–45 min) with Talent Partner: motivation, expectations, fit.
    3. Small test assignment — a banner for social media and a simple landing hero section.
    4. Final interview with Senior Designer and CEO: review test, discuss workflow, alignment.

    Why This Role Matters

    • Support a long-term, stable US client with constant design needs.
    • Help the team scale by taking over daily UI tasks.
    • Work closely with an experienced designer, get clear feedback, and grow autonomy.
    • Great fit if you want to build rhythm and discipline in real product work without heavy bureaucracy.

Your next challenge is waiting. Let’s connect, talk about the impact we can make, and see if we’re the right fit for each other!
