    About the position

    Quantum is expanding the team and has brilliant opportunities for an Automation QA Engineer.     Must have skills:

    • 2–3 years in automation testing for backend systems and APIs
    • Python skills for writing test scripts and frameworks
    • Hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
    • Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
    • Skilled in testing REST APIs and asynchronous services
    • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, and SDLC

    Your tasks will include:

    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for backend systems and APIs, using Python
    • Design and execute automated tests for REST APIs and asynchronous services to ensure system reliability and accuracy
    • Perform performance and load testing to validate system behavior under high-load conditions
    • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
    • Test and validate cloud-based solutions across platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
    • Conduct end-to-end testing of data projects and data science pipelines, including verification of data quality, data transformations, and ML model outputs

    Responsibilities:  

    • Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one's doubts.  
    • Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it.  
    • Understand the master test plan and/or the project plan.  
    • Create or assist in creating own test plan.  
    • Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents.  
    • Procure or create test data required for testing.  
    • Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).

    What You'll get to do:
     

    • Design, implement, and execute test strategies for integration projects, focusing on API, web, and mobile applications.
    • Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases for REST APIs.
    • Ensure end-to-end integration testing across backend services, third-party APIs, and client applications.
    • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.
    • Apply basic OOP concepts when working with automated test frameworks.
    • Perform functional, regression, compatibility, and integration testing for web and mobile platforms.
