At PlayMe Studio, we are developing MeChat: Love Secrets, a Tinder among interactive dating simulator games. MeChat offers hundreds of unique romance routes, and we keep creating more. Our Narrative Design team today unites 13 specialists - that’s a 3x growth in the last 3 years. And we’re still expanding: we’re always open to people who are passionate about romance and visual novels, love writing, join game jams, and dream of starting their journey in narrative design.

About the role:

As a Narrative Designer, you will be responsible for a full cycle of designing the interactive romance routes. This position requires an ability to work with routine tasks and creativity in developing diverse romantic interactions. You will be assigned a mentor for smooth integration into the team and adaptation to all in-team processes.

As a Narrative designer, you will:

• Assemble story scripts based on the required formatting in Google Spreadsheets.
• Prepare visual references for story scripts.
• Design the interactive romance routes (sequels and new stories).
• Develop detailed romance plots and write story synopses for writers.
• Work closely with romance writers to ensure narrative and structure consistency.
• Revise and edit the narrative to ensure exciting players’ emotional journey.
• Q&A developed stories (review builds and provide feedback).
• Create new characters based on the audience's preferences.

• Maintain game documentation based on given standards.

   

Knowledge and skills we are looking for:

• At least 6 months of experience in creative writing, scriptwriting, interactive storytelling, or related fields (commercial experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of story structure, character arcs, pacing, emotional beats, and relationship development in interactive narratives.
• Deep understanding of current romance trends in media and pop culture.
• Deep understanding of what makes a great interactive story (player’s emotional journey, player’s agency, immersive narrative, etc).
• Ability to create immersive interactive romance scenes and sequences.
• Ability to write, iterate, and revise work under tight deadlines.

• Passion for mobile games and audience.

• розробка, підтримка, контроль та ведення проєктів;
• створення дизайн систем та art guides;
• розробка креативів для просування проєктів у соціальних мережах;
• контроль та реалізація графіки згідно зі встановлених правил та шаблонів;
• участь у створенні дизайн рішень для існуючих та нових проєктів;
• робота з корпоративним мерчем, створення та оформлення стендів та фотозон;
• аналіз робочих процесів та їх оптимізація;
• активна комунікація з замовником.
