We are looking for flutter developer to implement new features

GR8_TECH builds B2B iGaming platforms for operators who play to lead.

We deliver full-cycle, high-impact tech designed to scale — from seamless integrations and expert consulting to long-term operational support. Our platform powers millions of active players and drives real business growth. Call it what it is: the iGaming Platform for Champions.

With 1000+ GR8 people across locations and time zones, we don’t just ship technology — we help operators build success stories across brands, markets, and geos.

Our ambition drives us. Our people make it real.

If you’re a challenger in spirit and a champion in action — join us.

Why this role exists:

This role exists to own and drive the frontend mobile architecture across our flagship products. You’ll help us scale real-time user experiences to millions of active users by delivering high-throughput, low-latency Flutter applications while elevating engineering standards across our development teams.

What you’ll drive:

Strategy & outcomes

• Own high-level mobile system architecture, defining patterns that keep our mobile apps stable, modular, and fast.
• Translate business goals into robust technical blueprints, making clear decisions on system trade-offs.
• Establish engineering benchmarks for app startup times, memory footprint, and frame rates.

Discovery & decisions

• Evaluate new mobile technologies, frameworks, and tools to solve complex scale problems before they impact production.
• Design and execute migration strategies (including native add-to-app integrations) to modernize legacy codebases seamlessly.
• Define and enforce security baselines, including certificate pinning, obfuscation, and anti-tampering logic.

Delivery & execution

• Contribute hands-on code to critical, high-complexity systems and core framework libraries.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for high-severity mobile production issues.
• Optimize app performance, diagnosing UI/raster jank, memory leaks, and CPU-heavy operations using Dart Isolates.

 Stakeholder & cross-team alignment

• Partner with Product Managers, Heads of Streams, and Team Leads to align technical roadmaps with product release schedules.
• Standardize CI/CD pipelines, release automation (fastlane), and store submission processes across all mobile teams.
• Align architectural patterns across cross-functional streams to prevent technical fragmentation.

People & technical leadership

• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, running code reviews that raise the overall quality bar.
• Support Team Leads in crafting technical Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for mobile engineers.
• Drive engineering culture through technical write-ups, architecture reviews, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.

What makes you a GR8 fit:

Must-have

• 7+ years in commercial software development, with 3+ years dedicated to Flutter/Dart and hands-on experience in native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
• Strong system design and architectural thinking, paired with deep mastery of Dart internals (isolates, async, null safety) and Flutter's rendering pipeline.
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including state management (Bloc or Riverpod), testing (unit, widget, integration), and monorepos (Melos).
• Proven ability to balance technical quality vs delivery speed, taking full ownership and accountability for technical decisions and outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with high-frequency real-time data handling (WebSockets, long-lived connections, protobuf/JSON serialization) and mobile security standards.
• Effective technical communication skills across engineering and non-engineering stakeholders, with an ability to work smoothly in cross-functional environments (Product, Delivery, Ops).
• Mentorship and people development mindset, with experience guiding engineers through code reviews, technical roadmaps, and personal development planning.

Nice-to-have

• Hands-on experience with native add-to-app Flutter integration strategies and incremental migrations.
• Experience building CMS-driven or Server-Driven UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with dynamic localization, per-market feature toggles, deep linking at scale, and multi-jurisdictional app deployment.
• Practical experience profiling mobile app performance (DevTools, Impeller engine, jank diagnosis, memory leak isolation).
• Familiarity with App Store / Google Play review requirements for gambling and betting applications.

Why you’ll love working here:

Benefits Cafeteria — annual budget you allocate to:

Sports • Medical • Mental health • Home office • Languages.

Work-life & support

• Paid maternity/paternity leave + monthly childcare allowance.
• 20+ vacation days, unlimited sick leave, emergency time off.
• Remote-first + tech support + coworking compensation.
• Team events (online/offline/offsite).
• Learning culture with internal courses + growth programs.

Our culture & core values:

GR8_TECH culture is how we win — through trust, ownership, and a growth mindset. We move fast, stay curious, and keep it real, with open feedback, room to experiment, and a team that’s got your back.

FUELLED BY TRUST: we’re open, honest, and have each other’s backs.

OWN YOUR GAME: we take initiative and own what we do.

ACCELER8: we move fast, focus smart, and keep it simple.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED: we grow through challenges and stay curious.

BULLETPROOF: we’re resilient, ready, and always have a plan.

You'll work on the mobile app for an online travel agency representing 400+ luxury hotels across 75 countries through its own booking ecosystem. The app covers flexible room search and filtering, booking and payment flows, a shopping cart, and loyalty programs that combine hotel discounts with an internal points-based rewards system. It's under continuous development to keep engagement high and deliver a reliably premium experience for guests booking upscale stays. On the technical side, the app is built in Flutter with WebView-based screens and integrates with a CMS, Leonardo for image management, and hospitality platforms like Salesforce and SynXis.

You Have

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience, with strong hands-on work in Flutter and Dart
• Deep proficiency in Flutter and Dart — application architecture, state management, widget composition, and performance optimization
• A solid grasp of asynchronous programming in Dart, including Futures and Streams
• Experience integrating REST APIs, handling JSON serialization, and managing API-related errors and edge cases
• A track record of shipping and maintaining production-grade mobile applications
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes
• Experience writing and maintaining unit, widget, and/or integration tests for Flutter apps
• A good handle on mobile performance, debugging, logging, and troubleshooting
• Experience with WebView-based functionality and integrating web content into mobile apps
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to investigate and resolve complex issues independently
• A habit of taking ownership of your tasks, making sound technical calls, and flagging risks early
• Experience working in a collaborative Agile team
• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in daily development
• Genuine interest in AI-assisted engineering — using it to improve development, testing, debugging, documentation, and productivity
• Upper-intermediate English, spoken and written, with confidence communicating with international teams and clients

Would be a plus

• Experience with mobile apps in travel, hospitality, e-commerce, or booking
• Experience with payment flows, booking systems, loyalty programs, or other transactional features
• Experience integrating mobile apps with CMS platforms and third-party enterprise systems
• Familiarity with Salesforce, SynXis, or similar hospitality/travel tech integrations
• Experience with image/content management platforms such as Leonardo or similar
• Understanding of WebView-based hybrid app architectures
• Experience with Firebase or similar mobile backend/analytics services
• Experience with automated release processes for App Store and Google Play
• Awareness of application security and best practices for protecting user and payment data
• Experience building AI-powered features or integrating AI pipelines/APIs into a product — or using AI beyond code generation, e.g., for testing, debugging, technical analysis, documentation, or planning

You Are Going To

• Build and ship new features for the Flutter mobile app
• Help evolve search, booking, payment, loyalty, and other customer-facing functionality
• Integrate mobile functionality with REST APIs and external services
• Keep existing functionality stable and reliable as you maintain and improve it
• Investigate and resolve production issues and technical defects
