Funcom is a video game developer with studios in Oslo, Norway, and Durham, NC, USA specializing in multiplayer games. Now they are looking for an experienced engine engineer with expertise in engine/network programming to join the core technology team.

In this position, you will work on a number of different titles, helping the project development teams update and optimize their projects to run smoothly on PS4, Xbox One and other consoles, and leverage all the platforms have to offer to deliver the best experience possible to the players.

As part of the core technology team, you will design, write and optimize rendering features, working closely with the artists to help them create visually compelling experiences. You will also be heavily involved in deciding how best to drive the visuals forward.
