    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and implement a high-performance Vulkan rendering pipeline for VR overlay applications
    • Develop efficient stereoscopic rendering techniques for VR environments
    • Create and optimize shaders for UI elements and visual effects in VR
    • Implement rendering optimizations for maintaining high frame rates in VR
    • Collaborate with core systems engineers to integrate rendering with the overlay architecture
    • Design and implement UI rendering components for 3D spatial interfaces
    • Develop graphics abstraction layers to support multiple rendering backends
    • Create efficient texture and resource management systems for VR
    • Implement advanced visual effects appropriate for VR overlay interfaces
    • Optimize rendering performance across different VR hardware configurations
    • Document rendering systems, shaders, and graphics APIs

     

    Required Skills & Experience

    •  3+ years of professional experience with Vulkan API
    • Strong understanding of modern graphics programming concepts
    • Experience with shader development (GLSL)
    • Knowledge of stereoscopic rendering techniques for VR
    • Proficiency in C++ programming
    • Experience with graphics performance optimization and profiling
    • Understanding of GPU architecture and memory management
    • Experience with real-time rendering systems
    • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with VR/XR graphics development
    • Knowledge of the OpenXR API and integration with Vulkan
    • Experience with SteamVR, OpenVR, or other VR runtime environments
    • Background in UI rendering systems or frameworks
    • Experience with multiple graphics APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, etc.)
    • Knowledge of compute shaders and GPU-based computation
    • Experience with graphics engine development
    • Contributions to open-source graphics or VR projects
