We are seeking a Middle Test Engineer to join one of our teams and help us build great products for our clients.

CUSTOMER
Our Customer is a dynamic VC-backed startup with proven products, marquee investors, and a terrific team of people. The company provides products and services that help parents stay informed on their baby’s health, safety, and well-being through smarter and better use of technology.

PROJECT
Our client’s product is the first smart monitor to merge computer vision, machine learning, and advanced camera sensors to measure a baby's sleep cycle and provide actionable insights that improve sleep for the entire family. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years of quality assurance experience, including (proven experience in mobile testing) 
• Experience testing mobile B2C applications on both iOS and Android platforms
• Understanding of complex products (client-side and Back-end)
• Strong debugging skills, ability to read logs and understand the root cause of issues
• Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English 

Would be a plus:

• Firmware testing experience
• Firmware testing experienceExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with a variety of products, including mobile, web, HW, AI, and servers 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review quality specifications, product requirements, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases 
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activity
• Identify, record, document, and thoroughly track bugs 
• Work closely with product managers, project managers, developers, and customer support 
• Be responsible for cross-scrum activities, such as releases quality, production monitoring and support

Продукт нашого клієнта — це перша розумна система моніторингу, яка поєднує комп’ютерний зір, машинне навчання та вдосконалені сенсори камери, щоб відстежувати цикл сну дитини та надавати корисну інформацію, що допомагає покращити сон усієї родини. 

ВИМОГИ

• 3 роки досвіду в тестуванні ПЗ, включаючи підтверджений досвід в тестуванні мобільних застосунків 
• Досвід тестування мобільних B2C застосунків на платформах iOS та Android  
• Розуміння складних продуктів з клієнтською та серверною частинами 
• Сильні навички відлагодження програм, вміння читати логи та розуміти першопричину проблем 
• Володіння усною та письмовою англійською мовою на рівні Upper-Intermediate 

Перевагою буде: 

• Досвід тестування вбудованого програмного забезпечення 
• Робота за Agile/Scrum підходом 
• Досвід роботи з різними типами продуктів, зокрема мобільними застосунками, вебрішеннями, апаратним забезпеченням, штучним інтелектом та серверами

• Перевіряти специфікації, вимоги до продукту та технічну документацію, а також надавати своєчасний та конструктивний зворотній зв’язок 
• Створювати детальні, чіткі і структуровані тест-кейси та тест-плани 
• Оцінювати, пріоритизувати, планувати та координувати тестування 
• Виявляти, описувати, документувати та ретельно відстежувати несправності 
• Тісно співпрацювати з продакт менеджерами, проєктними менеджерами, розробниками та службою підтримки 
• Бути відповідальним за контроль якості релізів, моніторинг виходу продуктів та їх підтримку

• A professional with 1+ years of experience a QA Specialist/Editor or other relevant role; 
• Familiar with HTML/CSS/JS as well as with STLC and SDLC; 
• Experienced user of eCommerce platforms (preferably Magento); 
• Confident in English on at least Upper-Intermediate level (both written and verbal);  
• A great communicator and a team player; 
• Detail-oriented professional with meticulous approach 

With you we will: 

• Proofread, edit, and perform quality checks on the corporate websites (e.g. product detail pages, articles, webforms etc.) being translated and localized from English to numerous foreign languages; 
• Estimate QA/proofreading efforts and collaborate with the team in the development of a testing strategy; 
• Ensure that all assigned projects are completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner and transmitted to stakeholders as required; 
• Provide hands on testing support during QA phase and production validation; 
• Provide suggestions or alternate point of view in case of incompatible formats or unachievable timelines.
