About the Role:

We are looking for a Junior AI/GenAI Engineer to support and evolve AI-driven capabilities within the Palantir Foundry and AIP ecosystem.

In this role, you will contribute to the transformation of a data platform support function into a proactive, AI-enabled engineering ecosystem, leveraging GenAI, semantic models, and automation to improve data reliability, operational efficiency, and self-service capabilities.

You will work at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and platform operations, helping integrate AI into real production workflows while enabling teams to adopt modern AI-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support AI and GenAI-driven solutions within enterprise data platform
• Apply LLM-based techniques such as prompt engineering, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for practical use cases
• Build and integrate AI capabilities into data workflows, pipelines, and backend systems (including Foundry environments)
• Collaborate with data engineers to understand data sources, ensure data quality, and prepare data for AI-enabled workflows
• Integrate AI solutions into Foundry workflows and Ontology-based data models to enable insights and business applications
• Support deployment and operational stability of AI-enabled solutions in production environments
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in AI-powered workflows and applications
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI-enabled technical solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in AI, ML engineering, data engineering, or related technical roles
• Strong Python programming skills
• Hands-on experience in Generative AI / LLM-based solutions (e.g. prompt engineering, embeddings, APIs, NLP use cases)
• Understanding of how AI/ML solutions are used in production systems (integration, inference, workflows)
• Experience working with data (structured and/or semi-structured datasets)
• Familiarity with data pipelines, backend systems, or distributed data workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot and support production environments and technical systems
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in complex enterprise environments
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and technical stakeholders
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP
• Experience in big pharma or highly regulated industries.
• Exposure to production support, monitoring, or platform reliability engineering

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with AI or ML experience to join our AI & Data project. In this role, you will combine high-end machine learning engineering with a revolutionary approach to software delivery. You will not just build AI; you will build AI using AI, orchestrating agentic workflows to deliver complex solutions at a velocity traditional teams cannot match.

You will focus on building practical, production-ready solutions that bridge the gap between unstructured data and structured logic using LLMs, agentic workflows, and knowledge representations (ontologies, knowledge graphs). You are expected to be an "AI-Native" pioneer, utilizing tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, and custom MCP servers to automate your own development lifecycle - from data exploration and model evaluation to code generation and documentation.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering (Python) 
• Proven experience with AI or ML projects, with accountability for end-to-end delivery in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the modern AI or ML ecosystem (e.g., PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain/LangGraph, Scikit-learn), with a strong foundation in engineering best practices such as code modularity, testing, and version control.
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion, RAG pipeline optimization, model evaluation, deployment (MLOps), and monitoring, including CI/CD pipeline development and containerization using tools like Docker or GitHub Actions.
• Deep understanding of generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic reasoning) and its practical constraints (latency, cost, safety, hallucinations).
• Experience turning complex business needs into "machine-ready" technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Evidence of using modern GenAI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to significantly accelerate your development and testing process.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and services that integrate AI/ML components.

About the role
