📍 Key Responsibilities:

Microservices Development: Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Go. 
CI/CD Optimization: Build and refine CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, delivery, and deployment processes. 
Infrastructure Management: Maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment environments to ensure system reliability. 
Engineering Excellence: Uphold high standards through rigorous code reviews, automated testing. 

📍Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
Core Engineering: Strong fundamentals in software design, focusing on writing clean, flexible, and scalable code. 
Go Expertise: Proven hands-on experience developing backend applications with Go. 
API & Data: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and proficiency in working with SQL databases. 
Containerization: Practical experience with Docker for containerizing applications and managing environments.

We’re looking for a proactive, business-minded Go Engineer to join the team building products that help our customers cut down on fraud-related risks. You’ll get to work on our brand new Representment product — saving our merchants hundreds of thousands of dollars.

What you’ll need to do

• Build the Dispute module: collect data from payment systems and make it clear for clients
• Launch the Representment module: create interfaces and APIs for merchants to upload evidence and push it to the Schemes
• Integrate with global payment giants: Stripe, Adyen, PayPal
• Roll out new products with Mastercard, Visa, AMEX

• Develop the financial backbone: invoicing, billing, reconciliation at scale

   

You’re a great fit if you have

• 4+ years of backend development experience, mostly with Go
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL
• Proven track record with microservices

About the Team and Role

You’ll join the Billing team and take ownership of the Taxes module — a core part of our billing system responsible for tax calculation and reporting across multiple locations.

The product has already moved beyond MVP and is actively used by customers. The foundational logic is in place, demand is high, and the next step is scaling functionality and reliability.

This role is exciting because you’re not maintaining legacy code — you’re building and shaping a critical system almost from scratch. 
You will have a clear path to Lead: full ownership of the Taxes direction, architectural decisions, and growing a team around it.

Your team — Product Owner, 1 Senior Engineer, Automation QA, and Tax Manager.

What you’ll own

• building tax calculation and reporting logic
• integrating third-party tax providers
• improving system resilience and uptime
• making architectural decisions and setting technical direction
• mentoring engineers as the team grows

In the first months, you’ll deliver key tax functionality and lay a solid foundation for future product and team growth.

We rely on automated testing over manual QA — unit, integration, functional, and e2e tests are a core part of how we ship and scale safely.

Must have:

• 5+ років досвіду в backend-розробці на Go та 1–2+ роки у ролі Tech Lead / Staff Engineer (з ownership на рівні системи)
• Сильний досвід розробки на Go та проєктування розподілених мікросервісних архітектур
• Глибоке розуміння API design (REST / async communication) та event-driven архітектур
• Досвід роботи з PostgreSQL, NoSQL та оптимізацією запитів
• Вміння будувати scalable та reliable системи (timeouts, retries, idempotency)
• Досвід роботи з AWS (або аналогами) та observability (logs, metrics, alerts)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Go + FHIR) to join our client's project, which develops secure, standards-compliant digital health solutions that empower researchers and public health institutions to advance evidence-based medicine. The company builds scalable research infrastructures, supports international standards such as FHIR, OMOP, and CDISC, and collaborates with some of the world’s leading clinical institutions.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of scalable backend services and healthcare data platform, working within a modern cloud-native environment with a strong focus on security, interoperability, and reliability.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience, with strong production experience in Go (Golang)
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and Docker (or equivalent container orchestration platforms) in production environments
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including query optimization, schema migrations, and transactional design
• Hands-on experience designing and operating REST and/or gRPC APIs at scale
• Experience working with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), including healthcare data modeling, interoperability concepts, and integration of healthcare-related APIs or systems
• Good understanding of secure software design, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and data-protection best practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Professional written and spoken English

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deliver backend services in Go (Golang), writing clean, maintainable, performant, and well-tested code
• Contribute to software architecture, API design, technical discussions, and code reviews
• Build and operate services on Kubernetes with Docker, integrating with CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling
• Design systems with security at the core, including authentication flows, authorization concepts, and data-protection architecture, as well as related technical documentation for clinical and compliance reviews
• Work with PostgreSQL and other data stores to model healthcare and research data with attention to scalability, performance, schema evolution, and data integrity
• Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, data, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned with GDPR/HIPAA expectations and clinical partner requirements
• Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, and performance optimization

Will Be a Plus:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Exposure to digital health, clinical research, or other regulated environments (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
