JOB POSITION

We are looking for a talented React/React Native Developer to join our Development Team. You will be at the core of our talented Web and Mobile teams and focus on building the most advanced and meaningful apps and workflows on the latest technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

As a React/React Native engineer, you will work on our next generation applications, a specific project critical to our customer’s needs. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new challenges as we continue to push technology forward.

What you’ll do:

- Develop cloud based frontend web/mobile applications

- Work in all phases of the software development life-cycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring and support)

- Collaborate and grow in a dynamic environment while working in small, agile and cross functional teams

- Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our customers

- Communicate and coordinate with our engineering team in Ukraine.

What we look for in you:

- Results-orientation, collaborative, pragmatic and agile mindset

- Strong knowledge in working with Javascript, Typescript

- Strong knowledge of React and React Native (cli + expo)

- Expertise with the cloud (preferably AWS or GCP)

- Expertise with cross-platform apps deployment - App Store/Google Play

- Working proficiency in English (written and verbal)

- Continuous independent learning

We are looking for these skills/experience:

* Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

* Experience with React hooks, CSS-in-JS, Redux/MobX/Zustand

* Familiarity with MUI/Tailwind/ReactNativePaper

* Strong understanding of testing principles and tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox or similar

* Experience working with REST APIs

* Understanding of common development principles and best practices (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI) and basic understanding of design patterns

* Experience with web/mobile performance optimizations

* Experience in CI/CD processes is a plus

* Experience in WebSockets is a plus

Join Wix as a React Native Engineer and and play a key role in building a new chatbot-based application from scratch. You’ll join a newly-formed team focused on building the foundation for intelligent, dynamic AI characters. 

Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the mobile experience for our users. In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain our mobile application using React Native
• Build a new chatbot-centric product, integrating with various APIs and services
• Own the entire feature lifecycle — from requirement gathering to deployment
• Present and advocate for architectural decisions for mobile applications
• Participate in technical discussions to enhance developer experience and optimize performance

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience, including at least 1 year with React Native
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native frameworks
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and third-party libraries
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with web development – an advantage
• Experience with video and audio streaming — an advantage

• Проєкт: високонавантажена Web-платформa Social Casino/Online Casino. Наша мобайл команда розробляє додатки для України, Tier1: Складність додатку в тому, що це вайт лейбл, з одним кодовим ядром, на основі якого формується декілька різних брендів, з унікальною пропозицією для користувачів.
• Наш Tech Stack: React Native, React, Redux, Flux, RESTful API, GraphQL, Git, CI/CD. Нам потрібна людина з високим рівнем самоорганізації та автономності, з готовністю працювати в умовах відсутності детальної документації та можливих змін пріоритетів.

Твоїми майбутніми задачами будуть:

• Підготовка та налаштування додатків на основі вже існуючих:
• розробка та перевикористання дизайн системи;
• реалізація унікальних фіч;
• вивід додатку в AS та GPM;
• оптимізація перформансу;
• моніторинг та вирішення крашів та інших клієнтських помилок;
• ведення документації;
• тісна співпраця з кор.бекенд командою для виявлення неоптимальних рішень та їх покращень спільними зусиллями.

Про попередній досвід:

• 5+ років попереднього досвіду в розробці мобільних додатків за допомогою React Native;
• Досвід побудови проекту з 0 та вивід додатку в апп стор;
• Глибокі знання React Native, включи основи React, Redux та Flux (як плюс).

Інші навички:

• Експерт в TypeScript;
• Попередній досвід Git, CI/CD, тестуванням;
• Попередній досвід з RESTful API и GraphQL (як плюс).
• Гарні комунікативні навички та вміння працювати в команді;
• Зацікавленість у вивчені нових технологій та зацікавленість в професійному розвитку.
