Requirements:

• Basic understanding of IT and IoT concepts.

About the Job

As Linux Software Engineer, you will be a key part of our System Architecture team to develop and maintain the Linux-based systems powering our unmanned aerial vehicles at Quantum-Systems. You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Avionics, Systems Engineering, and Flight Testing departments to integrate hardware, third-party software, and onboard applications into a high-performance Linux platform.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Maintaining existing as well as creating new Linux applications on the unmanned aircraft
• Designing and coordinating interfaces between teams, documenting the architecture and design decisions
• Integration of hardware and 3rd-party software into the Linux system, aligning with suppliers and other teams
• Testing of existing and new applications. This includes writing unit tests, integration tests, functional tests, and acceptance tests

Вимоги:

• Досвід комерційної розробки на C та C++ від 5 років.
• Глибокі знання Linux
• Практика роботи з embedded, real-time і/або high-performance системами.

Технічні навички:

• Глибокі знання C++ (C++17 і вище).
• Розуміння принципів OOP, Design Patterns.
• Досвід роботи з бібліотеками та фреймворками: STL, Boost, ASIO.
• Досвід розробки для Linux (POSIX API, сокети, IPC).
• Знання багатопоточності та конкурентного програмування (std::thread, mutex, lock-free підходи).
• Розуміння принципів роботи пам’яті, оптимізації та профілювання коду.
• Досвід роботи з CMake, Git, CI/CD.
• Знання алгоритмів та структур даних.

Буде плюсом:

• Знання протоколів CAN, UART, TCP/UDP, та Protobuf.
• Навички оптимізації під обмежені ресурси (embedded).
• Розуміння базових принципів Computer Vision, ML та робототехніки.
• Досвід інтеграції з сенсорами, робототехнічними фреймворками або middleware (наприклад, ROS/ROS2) буде перевагою.

• Розробка та підтримка embedded firmware.

• Участь у тестуванні та валідації пристроїв.

Необхідний досвід в embedded розробці (є декілька продуктів під різні напрямки і зможуть підібрати під ваш стек: embedded linux або мікроконтролери або RTOS).
