We are looking for an experienced Lead 3D Artist to lead the art team, build efficient pipelines, and ensure high-quality visuals across our mobile games and playable ads. Your role will combine artistic vision, production management, and technical expertise.

Main responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring a team of 3D artists
• Ownership of the visual quality of game projects (style consistency, readability, appeal)
• Estimation, task planning, and deadline control for art production
• Building and improving 3D art pipelines for mobile and playable ads
• Art QA: reviewing assets, ensuring they meet performance and style requirements
• Close collaboration with developers, game designers, 2d artists, animators, etc.
• Conducting technical interviews for 3D artists.
• Setting up workflows for fast content production (especially for prototypes and ads)
• Solving art-related issues and optimizing for mobile performance

Our ideal candidate has:

• 4+ years of experience in 3D art for games (mobile experience is a strong plus)
• Experience in a Lead / Senior role with team management or mentorship
• Strong understanding of stylized 3D (casual / hyper-casual / mid-core)
• Solid skills in:
  • Modeling (low-poly / mid-poly)
  • Texturing (hand-painted / PBR understanding)
  • Lighting and composition
• Experience working with UI
• Understanding of mobile limitations and performance optimization
• Experience building or improving art pipelines
• Strong Art QA skills (consistency, readability, polish)
• Basic technical knowledge
• Ability to balance quality vs speed (especially for playable ads)
• Proactivity and ownership mindset
• English level B1+

We’re looking for a 3D Artist to help bring our game worlds to life through expressive, high-quality props, guns, characters. At Fractured Byte, we focus on realism and personality, crafting characters that make every moment in-game feel impactful and immersive.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and sculpt detailed guns, realistic 3D gear sets for characters, and props based on provided concept art, ensuring visual fidelity and style consistency.
• Work independently and efficiently, meeting deadlines while maintaining the artistic vision.
• Collaborate closely with 3D art. lead, animators, and tech. art. team to ensure characters function properly in-game.
• Stay updated on cutting-edge tools, workflows, and industry best practices to elevate character art quality and efficiency
   

REQUIREMENTS

• A portfolio showcasing high-quality character art, including realistic gear sets or creature work.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, proportion, form, and silhouette.
• Proven ability to create optimized, game-ready character assets.
• Solid experience with PBR texturing workflows.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Maya/3dsMax/Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, Marmoset Toolbag and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with retopology, UV layout, and baking techniques.
• Good communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative 3D art. team.
   

PREFERENCES

• Experience working in Unreal Engine 4, creating material shader, import and setup assets.
• Ability to contribute to character design and ideation.
• Additional instrumental for texturing: Substance Designer.

Обов’язки:
 

• Створювати якісні 3D-моделі для статичної графіки та 3D motion відео;
• Створювати повноцінні 3D сцени для імплементації до key visual;
• Готувати моделі для рендерингу та подальшої анімації;
• Текстурувати та налаштовувати матеріали;
• Працювати з освітленням і композицією сцен для якісного фінального результату;
• Оптимізовувати геометрію та матеріали для швидкого рендерингу;
• Тісно співпрацювати з графічними дизайнерами та motion-дизайнерами для інтеграції 3D-графіки.
   

Вимоги:
 

• Має досвід роботи 3D-моделером від 3 років;
• Впевнено володіє: Cinema 4D або Blender, 3ds MAX;
• Має досвід роботи з Photoshop, Illustrator;
• Вміє працювати з освітленням і матеріалами для реалістичних та стилізованих рендерів;
• Має розуміння процесу підготовки 3D-елементів для motion-дизайну;
• Вміє працювати в команді та дотримуватися дедлайнів;
• Досвід роботи з анімаційними сценами — буде перевагою.
