We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our big team and be a primary point of contact with the Customer on quality assurance matters. CUSTOMER
Our Customer is a leading European supplier of eco-friendly, energy-efficient indoor climate solutions. They aim to provide modern climate control in all types of buildings by using renewable energy sources and the latest technology.

PROJECT
Our project involves the development of smart home climate solutions for a client operating in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) sector. Together with the client, we provide smart climate solutions featuring wireless connectivity and intelligent control for any type of property, including apartment blocks, industrial buildings, hotels, or country houses, to help reduce energy consumption for our client’s customers and society at large.

The team is responsible for developing and maintaining universal electronics and firmware platforms.

The mission of the project is to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that accelerate time-to-market for new products while supporting the company’s global vision of transitioning to energy-efficient and sustainable technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer (preferably in embedded or firmware projects)
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and ability to write test cases and reports
• Experience with bug tracking and test management systems
• Experience with Unix platforms
• Experience in Network (understanding of TCP/UDP)
• Experience with sniffers and debugging tools (ex. Charles, Wireshark)
• Experience in API testing (Postman, Bruno)
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Basic hardware skills (flashing, setup, and diagnostics)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of embedded software
• Create and maintain test documentation (checklists, test cases, and bug reports)
• Participate in release planning and synchronization meetings with the development team
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and other QA engineers
• Identify, log, and track defects until resolution
• Contribute to the overall product and process quality according to company standards

ВИМОГИ

• 2+ роки досвіду як Manual QA Engineer (бажано в проєктах з вбудованим програмним забезпеченням або прошивкою) 
• Добре знання методологій тестування та вміння писати тестові випадки й звіти
• Досвід роботи з системами відстеження помилок та управління процесом тестування
• Досвід роботи з Unix-платформами
• Базове розуміння мереж (TCP/UDP)
• Досвід роботи зі сніферами та інструментами налагодження (наприклад, Charles, Wireshark)
• Досвід тестування API (Postman, Bruno) 
• Володіння англійською мовою на рівні Upper-Intermediate
