    Astrix builds conversational AI simulations that help organisations develop and measure human skills like leadership, communication, and decision-making β€” skills that traditional training struggles to evaluate.

    We work with enterprise clients, consultancies, and institutions to create realistic, voice-based simulations powered by agentic AI, real-time audio processing, and analytics. Our platform sits at the intersection of AI, product, and human behaviour.

    We’re now looking for a mid-level full-stack developer to join our existing team of data scientists and engineers and help scale the platform.

     

     

    The Role

    You’ll work across the stack, owning meaningful parts of the product end-to-end β€” from real-time audio capture through to dashboards and platform integrations.

    This is not a ticket-factory role. You’ll be trusted to work independently, deliver against milestones, and collaborate closely with the founding team on product decisions.

     

     

    What You’ll Work On

    • Scaling the Astrix platform for enterprise use
    • Building and maintaining cross-platform desktop functionality (macOS & Windows)
    • Real-time audio capture, streaming, and transcription pipelines
    • Integrations with enterprise systems (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors, LMSs)
    • Improving performance, reliability, and security
    • AI evaluation flows, analytics, and dashboards
    • Iterating on product UX alongside the founders

       

     

     

    Required Experience

    • Full-stack experience delivering MVPs end-to-end
    • Experience with Electron for cross-platform desktop apps
    • Real-time audio capture and processing
    • WebSocket-based streaming systems
    • Integration with real-time speech-to-text APIs (streaming transcription)
    • Experience with Cloudflare Workers
    • Event-based data modelling and database design (session + event ingestion)
    • React experience for integrating with the core platform
    • Comfortable working independently with milestone-based delivery

     

     

    Bonus (Nice to Have)

    • Experience with real-time transcription (STT)
    • Cloudflare Durable Objects or similar stateful real-time systems
    • Audio/video streaming formats (WebM, Opus, PCM)
    • Dashboard or analytics UI experience
